Quick Ololiuqui Ingestion Question
Swim just got his Ololiuqui seeds today and plans on taking them tonight he was wondering on how to go about it. he knows you should extract morning glory seeds so you dont eat any seed material. but he heard these have no side effects so hes not shure if extraction is neceserey. swim is planning on just grinding up the seed and putting in capsules. anyone have any ideas on this?

Re: Quik Ololiuqui Ingestion Question
SWIM put 25 ground seeds in a capsule and got no effect.
No positive effects, and no negative effects. I've also read that there are no side effects to the seeds. 50 powdered and put into two 00 caps would be the next trial. Let us know what SWIY experiences. |

Re: Quik Ololiuqui Ingestion Question
Swim would say you may well experience side effects, just a good deal less than MG or HBWR.
These seeds seem to detoriate in potency with time, but Swim would not recomend exceeding 25-30 seeds until the potency of those particular seeds has been established. |

Re: Quik Ololiuqui Ingestion Question
Glad to hear the water extraction worked for you...swim has drank a 5 to 30 min cold distilled water extract of 8 to 10 grams of mg seeds with no nausea whatsoever. See the post "first morning glory trip" for more info on the water extract...remember this is how the Indians also did it. The good stuff in the seeds is polar, and will readily dissolve into the polar water, while the non-polar nauseating toxic stuff in the seeds (waxes, oils, etc.) is not soluble in water, and will stay behind in an empty tea bag full of crushed seeds dunked into the cold water.
If you eat the seeds you could possibly be in for a rough time...if you don't believe me, listen to this 1 hour ipod media track of two investigators who did a "radio show" where they ingested crushed mg seeds then reported the effects...the girl in the show who took them experienced intense nausea and malaise for quite some time...here it is (scroll down to show #5): http://72.14.209.104/search?q=cache:...s&ct=clnk&cd=3 A chemist named Peter Webster believes that when the ergine from mg seeds is dissolved into basic water, the ergine and iso-ergine in the seeds form 3 variants which are responsible for the potent psychedelic activity. This occurs via hydrolysis and forms in about 1/2 to 1 hour or so in the water...it reaches equilibrium quickly in the basic water but this does not occur rapidly in body fluids...so in other words fill up an empty family sized tea bag with the crushed seeds and dunk it in cold distilled water for a short time to allow the white milky polar active material to dissolve into the water...then the equilibrium of ergine and iso-ergine have time to occur, after soaking a short while, the water (not the teabag) goes down the hatch. For more on this theory and to read a whole chapter about Webster's mg experiments, refer to the book "Sacred Mushrooms of the Goddess" (2006). The kykeon of the ancient rituals of Eleusis may have involved a water extraction of ergot from grain, leaving the toxic material behind but extracting the good material into the water--high in ergine and iso-ergine, which formed their variants in the water over the course of an hour...mg seeds are similar because they also contain large qty of ergine and iso-ergine. It may be that Ololiuqui isn't coated with all that other "good stuff" that can make you sick, or at least some of it isn't. I think where you get the seeds from (as in where they originate, not where the company is who sells them as ethnos) makes a big difference. |
