Is tolerance to different amphetamines all the same?

Do stronger amphetamines raise tolerance and cause other amphetamines to be less effective?


Example: If someone did meth for a week, then went one week with amphetamine and other less potent drugs, would the meth have built up a tolerance so the person wouldn't feel the same way the week before they took the meth?

Does tolerance to meth automatically make dextro-amps and amphetamine itself become tolerated?

Yes. They all act on Dopamine in the brain and thus you become tolerant. Meth is the worst thing with tolerance since it stimulates dopaminergic neurons to release HUGE amounts of dopamine. On the other side, with this kind of stimulants there's also a "cross-tolerance". That means if you take lower doses of dextro-amps but frequently and regularly u will get kind of sensitive to it's effect. Using meth once in a while is the worst thing for tolerance.

You can always take multi vitamins and minerals, amino acids, magneisum, and maybe some Nootropics to reduce the tolerance and possible brain damage but that's another topic.
