Re: Quit DXM?
Hlucn8: I realise that you are 100% right. SWIM focused on real life and it's not bad at all
He did lots of painting, photographing (autumn photos are great IMO), started playing piano again, spent time with friends. He's now clean for 11 days, no more problems with cravings, although yesterday he found an old batch of extracted DXM, somewhere around 600-700mg, and considered taking some, but then forced himself to throw it all away. Thank you very much for your thoughts about self-appreciation.

Re: Quit DXM?
Good job paracelsus. I'm glad SWIY is fighting the demons. 11 days is a long time for kicking a strong habit, and just think, SWIY has made it this far, so he can make it 11 more days, and 11 more after that, and so on. It takes a LOT of courage to get rid of drugs that one has just found, so its great that SWIY was able to toss it. If SWIY gets down on himself again for having used DXM in the past, just take heart that SWIY was able to perform that necessary action, and go easy on SWIYself. It sounds like he's doing well with his fight. Take care man.

Cool! Albatross is a big damn bird, and it gets really heavy tied around ones neck.
