Codeine to morphine

If swim is percribed codeine for pain and when this breakes down in the body and turns too morphine, would the effects be the same as being given IV morphine. Or a they different?

Codeine is weaker then morphine as well so no the feeling would not be the same comparing to intravenous morphine use.

Depending on the dosage the codeine could feel as potent as morphine but you'd need roughly 10 times the amount of codeine. As alicia mentions above do not inject codeine it is very dangerous and commonly causes fatality.

A big differance fromn taking codeine orally and morphine iv is that the morphine IV will give a euphoric rush when it first crosses the blood brain barrier. The opiated after effect however will be the same as if taken codeine orally if a high enough dose of codeine is taken.

Something to note however is that codeine causes much worse urinary retention and constipation than morphine when taken in higher dosages and this can cause issues. Particularly is dosages greater than 200mg codeine orally.

Don't worry swim isn't thinking of injecting codeine, I was just curios about the similarities. By the way this is how I look after a heavy night.

Actually, injecting 120mg codeïne subcutaneously is equal to 10mg of morphine administered with the same route.
Though SWIY would need 100% pure codeïne, and not some codeïne extracted with a CWE, it is possible if SWIY has some lab skills, or has acces to pharmaceutical ampules or pure powder.
