Nightshade

A few weeks ago I was talking to someone and he said he could get the same effect as MDMA but without taking any MDMA. When I asked how he did that he said he drank the tea of nightshade, he also mentioned not to take the black nightshade because that species is very poisonous. Further he said you need 5gr of dried nightshade for 200ml of tea. He said it's also possible from tomatoes, potatoes, etc because these are also member of the nightshade family.

Anyone has an idea about what he was talking ? Procedures to make that kind of tea ? Warnings ?

I doubt that about tomato's or potato's
Many parts of the above nightshade plants are poisonous, varying from mild to deadly.

98% of myself tells me I'm fooled, but there's still 2% off it that doubts, whenever I meat a bio-professor or something like that, I'll ask him.

In the story that guy told me he also said his professor for biology told him that and if he really wanted to fool me I don't think he would mentioned that, ah well I let this case rest till I can speak to someone who maybe has the knowledge to know if this is true.

The effects are not MDMA like. Nightshade is a dangerous plant....I do not know of anyone that has enjoyed their experience on Nightshade.

A nightshade trip is not like MDMA at all, a full trip includes delirium.

It contains Atropine and scopolamine, hallucinogenic(in the truest sense) and sedative drugs, which can cause lastingdelerium or death. Don't mess with this stuff until you know all you can about it.

Nightshade I would like to point out is the main ingredient in many of
the ancient flying potions that you can find throughout ancient texts
on magick.

There was a historian and his assistant that went out and replicated
the potions exactly as they were written to see what happened. They
created the potions, and RUBBED them on their skin, which was the way
to introduce the nightshades poison. The researcher became unconcious
and had very low life signs, but was alive. During this state he
reported after waking up that he had visions of himself flying over
London, England and other places.

Just something that I thought you all might be interested in, if you
wish, I can get my hands on the recipies for the potions and some 11th
and 12th century herbal books.

I would very much like those recipes, if you can PM them to me, I'm very interested in the ancient use of any drug. I saw one recipe for flying ointment, it contained opium, cannabis, belladonna, stramonium and mandragora. Don't think I'd want to try it, at least not for now, but one of my greatest hobbies is collecting information about drugs.

belladonna, stramonium and mandragora are all delerients containing tropane alkaloides. The ingredients that Sunyata mention were mixed with lard and it was then often rubbed on the genitals. Infact the witches broomstick often had a phallus carved on the end hidden in the grass end of the broom. The lard mixture was sometimes put on the phallus of the broom and then the witches would "Ride" their broomsticks while inducing vissions of flight. That is where witches flying around on their broomsticks comes from.

Basiclly what the circumstnaces where was this, I was outside, and I
saw her come out with a broom, I asked her what she was gonna do, she
said she was going to go fly around a bit, I said she couldn't do, it.
She said watch me, and off she went. No drugs were involved that I know
of, I know I was not under the influence of any.

since there seems to be a lack of Nightshade experiences,i'd like to share mine.strangest and scariest fucking trip of my life.

a friend brewed the tea.i don't know what strain of belladonna he used,or the method for which he cooked it.don't ask.

i felt fine until about two hours after ingestion.i started to get warm and shakey, and it continued until i felt very feverish and cold.i started watching Yellow submarine until my old friend (let's call him J) arrived to watch over me.we talked for a bit,and things kept getting stranger and stranger.J left to score some cannabis and benzos to calm me down as he could see i was starting to lose control of the trip.some time later,J returned with nothing.i asked him what happened and what took him so long and he replied with "Umm..i haven't seen you in a while.i haven't been over here tonight"

oooooook.so that's fucked up,right?well the plot thickens.i'm getting so many visuals that they were far beyond my ability to verbally describe.J leaves and comes over again.Again,i ask him for the liquid valium he was supposed to obtain to end this nightmare.Yet again,he claims he hasn't seen me in days and that this was is first time over tonight.I reallllllllllly start losing my shit, scream at him to get out.i try to hide under a blanket but as soon as i cover myself with my large blue quilt,i'm suddenly underwater,floating..aquatic life swims past me very peacefully..i can see the sun above the sea..but then a dark shape starts moving up from the depths.i scream and fall off the couch.my living room walls all grew faces and mocked my scream until the sound pierced my brain and caused the most pain i've ever felt.i vomit and then flee my home, get on my motorcycle and drive away (smart idea, huh?).snap, memory ends here.

i woke up the next morning naked behind a hardware store and covered in mud and vomit.i try to piece together what i remembered from the previous night and came up with more than a few discrepiances:

1.i don't own a motorcycle.i don't even have a car.

2.i don't own a tv or a copy of yellow submarine.

and the real kick to my psyche,3: J died over two years ago.

all i have to say for belledonna:be prepared to have reality shattered.

Post Quality Evaluations:
Well written tripp report, honest, insightful, exactly what a tripp imto the realm of Daimonica should have
really interesting trip. Gave me a good idea of why not to try nightshades

That sounds fucked up, but I've read a lot of similar reports. This tale should not be regarded as a mere "bad-trip", if you aren't prepared to experience what was described above then stay away from Datura and Brugmansia.

And a comment on your dead friend who was supposed to bring you valium, you should be glad you didn't have access to any. Datura interacts with opiates and tranquillizers, making respiratory failure a very real possibility. I don't know if this goes for all tranquillizers, but I read that valium and opiates are a no-no with Datura. The best thing to do is apparently to vomit, so no more alkaloids are absorbed, and then just ride it out.

Has anyone heard of any antidote against Datura? Haven't been able to find anything on the net.

I would assume your advice was probably all you have. Vomit and chug
some liquid activated charcoal (to suck up any remaining chemical).

That's probably all they will do for you at a hospital.

Yes, that's all I've been able to find by searching the web too. Kind of scary with a poison for which there is no known antidote.

It contains Atropine which is used as the antidote for heroin overdose. If you take enough it is the antidote for life! Ok, not really helpfull but it seemed somehow relevant.

i would be interested in these herbal books and recipes. the ways drugs were used in ancient civilizations and such are of great interest to me. partly because these people used drugs for an entirly different purpose than those today. they respected the drugs they were using and thus 'used' them instead of abusing them. please PM me.

Dr H,I seriously doubt they useatropine in case of heroin overdose, it would kill that person, you're thinking about adrenaline. Here's a quote fromLegal Highs (Adam Gottlieb) regarding atropine: "Potentiates other pyschotropics
including opium, cannabis, harmala alkaloids, mescaline." To potentiate means "to make stronger" so it would be fatal to give this to someone who's overdosing on H.

You can buy it in Australia. Get on the net and put in moonshine and once you get a supply place thay sell liquid activated charcoal to clean up alcohol. You can probably get if from the vet too. My dog ate some rat poison and they gave him vitamine K to keep his blood from thinning and then stuffed him with enough charcoal to turn the next 4 turds black.
