The key ingredient in Bliss Extra is the Aserone contained in our Calamus extract. Shortly after ingestion, Aserone is converted into TMA-2, a hallucinogen with 18 times the potency of Mescaline.
TMA-2 is the basic building block from which most modern amphetamines were originally derived. Bliss Extra is the only Ecstacy alternative that offers the exceptional Aserone High.
The Ecstacy like hallucinogenic properties of Aserone together with the stimulating properties of the Sida cordifolia extract, and the other balancing ingredients, make Bliss Extra the first truly E like Ecstacy alternative.
An appropriate E like dose is three capsules. The experience usually begins after about 30 minutes following ingestion, and peaks after about two hours, and lasts for around 6-8 hours.
Euphoria, particularly linked to music and motion.
Strong physical stimulation.
A pleasant feeling of intoxication.
Energy rushes with heightened peripheral sensitivity and tingling sensations.
The most authentic E experience available.
The design of Bliss Extra, our Ecstacy alternative, has, as is usual for our products, taken some time to develop, but the end result has proven to be exceptional and very pleasing.
For this product the majority of the effects are due to the Calamus content with the Sida cordifolia adding a further important nuance. The overall effect is tempered by and effected markedly by the other ingredients so that the overall experience is unique to our product.
Below are short comments upon each component. The important point is that each plays a part and cannot be ignored; the designed effects are stimulation, warmth, mental activity, enhancement of musical perception, conversation, interpersonal relations [sex], rushes, mood elevation and a general psychedelic behaviour.
The duration of the experience is based upon two variables, namely the quantity and the individual.
The quantity found in one packet will last up to 6-8 hours and will be prolonged, not heightened - like most psychedelic experiences- by further ingestion. This is in itself a useful property as the minimization of addictive properties leads to less repeated dosages, but more return purchases. Two packets will give a high that will last up to 10 hours. Needless to say the role the individual plays is an important one and these standard times are subject to wide variations.
This product treats the whole organism rather than parts of it. The components work together to produce an effect that is greater than the sum of each individually. The designs are based upon treating the whole by giving the organism every thing it requires to reach a better state of awareness by its own natural mechanisms rather than direct stimulation (ie medicines or drugs). The products components are all natural.
Calamus is the supplier of the chemicals asarone and ß-asarone, both of which are metabolized into the compound TMA-2 [which has ten times the potency of mescaline] and various sesquiterpenes and minor substituted aromatics that produce their own unique effects. TMA-2 is a known psychedelic with interesting dose related effects that start with stimulation and progress to a warmer deeper effect and finally to fully psychedelic effects.
Bliss Extra contains enough Calamus extract to cause the prevalence of Calamus' more stimulating properties to prevail. As the amount of Calamus consumed increases, its effects change from being an MDMA like stimulant, to a more LSD like hallucinogen, and as the dose increases further the effects become more Ketamine related, with "out of body" experiences reported with extremely high doses.
Calamus usage has been noted in the Cree Indians of Northern Alberta who chew it for oral hygiene and as a stimulating tonic that in relatively large quantities cause one to "walk a foot above the ground". They apparently suffer no unpleasant side effects. In fact, those who use it seem to be in better general health than those who do not.
The plant also has many medical uses and has a proven record of safe and effective use for these purposes.
N.B. Contraindications for MAOI's.
There are recommendations for this product to be borne in mind as it contains compounds [amines and amine precursors] that in the presence of MAOI's and in the right conditions can lead to un-desired interactions. Joint consumption with of these products and MAOI's from medical or other sources should be avoided [this is specifically mentioned for Calamus].
This is known as the king of herbs because of its multitude of medicinal uses including the control of both high and low blood pressure. It is a true adaptogen as it is used by the body to "adapt" itself for exercise, exertion, mental and emotional work and so on with the added bonus that ginseng also works as a relaxant. It is a true stimulant of the mind and body but does not compare to any illegal substance. It regulates the whole of the body and is used here as the most important single component in these supplements to maintain the correct balancing of the body and mind.
Ginseng is also one of the most carefully researched botanicals in the world. The Research Institute of the Republic of Korea has alone cited and abstracted 1191 books and papers published on ginseng between 1687 and 1975, and recent history has this increasing daily.
We need not say much more about the positive aspects of ginseng, as every consumer in this country will have already heard, seen, or tried a ginseng product in the last five years which claims to solve, cure or ease all manner of problems (mental and physical), and to extend and generally improve the quality of life!
Here is our summary of its effects as listed for ingredients.
Siberian Ginseng: This is the most potent form of ginseng. It is a stimulant, as well as an adaptogen, acting as a graphics equaliser for all of the bodies glands, compensating for imbalances and thus enhancing the bodies recuperative powers.
This is an essential amino acid that must be present in the diet. An average person consumes approximately 20g a day from natural protein sources.
Phenylalanine is a neuro-transmitter that is metabolised into various endogenous amines that act as excitatory transmitters such as noradrenaline, dopamine and epinephrine (ephedrine) which promote alertness and vitality. Noradrenaline and dopamine are the compounds that are structurally similar to the drugs of abuse such as speed, meth, ecstasy, MDA, Mescaline, PCP, Morphine, Heroin etc. which they mimic for their activity.
Additionally L-Phe is metabolised to Tyrosine, an amino acid that is the most direct precursor to norepinephrine, dopamine and epinephrine (ephedrine). Tyrosine is the nutrient that is most used in recovery and has been shown to keep neuronal damage to a minimum during stress. As a supplement is has similar effects to that of L-Phe. It is not an essential amino acid as it can be metabolised from L-Phe - although it is important that there is a vitamin C supply so that it can be properly metabolised.
L-Phe is referred to as a natural "upper".
With this stated you will now understand this list of beneficial effects that can be brought on by the ingestion of L-Phenylanaline:
Reduces hunger
Increases sexual interest
Improves memory and mental alertness
Alleviates depression
L-Phe is non-addictive so there are no problems about its continued use.
Here in this supplement there are the other important nutrients required for the proper utilisation of L-Phe. Making sure the body doesn't have to work too hard or harm its self.
There are two important contraindications to note here; the use of L-Phe during pregnancy is not recommended (as is everything else) and suffers of Phenylketonuria (PKU) should avoid L-Phe. These warnings are included in the packaging and the dangers for PKU suffers will be thoroughly understood by themselves.
L-Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid. It is mood elevating and can be considered as euphoric. It is also required for the production of ephedrine type and other stimulants in the brain. Found in many food stuffs, including diet Coca Cola [it is released from the sweetener aspartamine].
GABA is again a naturally occurring amino acid. It is found in both the brain and the body. It is one of a class of inhibitory neurotransmitters that include serotonin. Although it is classed as an inhibitor rather than a stimulator its definition is only one of electrochemical activity in the brain and should not be interpreted as a downer or sedative - just the term neurotransmitter defines its ability as a natural substance that helps nerve impulses cross synapses and communicate with one another.
GABA usage will stimulate the release by the pituitary gland of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) (or Growth Hormone (GH)) which is naturally released by the body when it undergoes vigorous peak muscular exercise, during certain phases of sleep, or restricted food intake.
GH stimulates growth and repair of the body as well as the activities of the immune system. The immune system is run down by excess exercise without the proper nutrition. GH also helps the body burn fat and convert it into energy and muscle and aids in wound healing and tissue repair. GH is widely known for its powerful anabolic (muscle building) effects as well as its lipotropic (breakdown and utilisation of body fat) effects. The overall result of these effects is an increase in lean tissue mass and a decrease in body fat. Finally, stimulating naturally the levels of GH leads to greater feelings of energy and vigour.
Additionally, GABA has been shown to have positive toning effects on the nervous system, to improve sleep cycles leading to more restful sleep and more interesting lucid dreaming, to have a powerful stabilising effect on blood pressure and to be an effective analgesic (removing the perception of pain).
Many of these effects are also to be gained by other components of the supplement and are thus reinforced. The dosage is low as the components are working together and there is a natural overall effect of body stimulation leading to more energy.
The primary stimulant in Bliss Extra is Sida cordifolia extract, which contains L-Ephedrine. Ephedrine is a natural amphetamine that gives stimulation of the central nervous system (CNS), similar to speed (but to a lesser extent,) along with the excitation of the peripheral nervous system, that is far greater than that associated with Speed. This peripheral activity is what gives the rushes and the tingling of the skin and hair. Exercise upon Ephedrine will produces masses of rushes. The nature of Ephedrine assures that the overall effects are markedly different from those associated with Speed and other abused Amphetamines such as Ecstacy.
It needs to be said that the use of ephedrine (in the form of a Sida cordifolia extract), just because it is natural does not mean that it is safe. Excessive use of ephedrine can lead to symptoms similar to those associated with amphetamine abuse.
The products containing Ephedrine (and similar) that have been produced by the competition, have in general, not been designed properly are neither as healthy or as pleasant as these. They are generally strong in the ephedrine content which can lead to a rather unpleasant experience compared to these balanced ones.
The overall effect is a superb stimulation, that has the hard edge from the ephedrine content removed and an excellent depth and vision to the experience that is so far the closest to any ecstasy alternative available. This new combination induces a warmer, deeper and more mentally stimulating experience, than other Ecstacy alternatives. A one packet dose is sufficient to achieve the full effect and to properly experience this well balanced combination.
Bliss Extra is packaged in three capsule doses - this is one very decent dose for one person.
One capsule will provide a noticeable energy boost, but for a stronger, fuller, Ecstacy like experience, 3 capsules are recommended.
The more capsules you take the stronger the effect, however you are very unlikely to need any more than 6 at the most.
Their clever formula reduces the physical burnout that can be caused by stimulants and over-exertion, and as a result there is little or no comedown.
Bliss Extra, like most stimulants make most people more inclined to drink lots of beer, smoke lots of fags, stay up late, and not eat food. This can make you feel a bit rough just remember not to go to crazy unless you want to.
[top]Is it OK to mix them with Alcohol and other drugs?
They do not react badly with alcohol, and in fact seen to encourage drinking. Alcohol is a powerful sedative, so it can mask the effects of stimulants such as Bliss Extra, if drunk in large quantities.
Whilst we cannot condone the taking of illegal recreational drugs, we can say that they will not react in an adverse way when taken in conjunction with Bliss Extra, but the overall experience will become a combination of their effects.
You should not take if you suffer from any adverse heart condition, or if you are using any MAO inhibiting medicines. As a safer, but more general recommendation you should not take these if you are suffering any diagnosed medical condition, or if you are taking any medicines, without first consulting your medical practitioner.
It has an weak effect, but there are many better herbal ecstasy's for sale. BTW They will probably not be around from April on, as the law on EPhedrine containing supplements has changed in the US and the Netherlands. Personally, I do not like Bliss extra or any other of that brand. Six years ago, Bliss extra was a strong product, containing the chemical TMA-2, but now it just contains Calamus.
is'nt it calamus extract, and calamus is one source for tma-2
calumus extract is asarone which is the chemical precursor of TMA-2 but does not contain it. theres a pretty easy process involving sodium nitrite to convert the asarone however asarone by itself is alot less potent
Swim has tried druids fantasy - total rubbish containing lsa if memory serves but never space cadets. They are still available here though. I know that one of the used to contain TMA 2 however, which I think is banned now.

SWIM Took 3 of these a few nights ago. (they were a freebee with an order from a vendor)
The capsules are huge... SWIM isnt great at swallowing tablets so he had to empty the powder into a shot glass and wash it down with water.
The contents tasted nasty, but bearable, although SWIM is not weak stomached.
SWIM is Male, 5'11, 12st.
T+20 - Nausea, mild stomach cramps
T+60 - Nausea gone down a bit, stomach craps stopped, felt twitchy but not in a nice way
T+120 - Nausea same, still as jittery and mentally twitchy, im sure i was a terrible conversation piece. Visual stimulation from television slightly enhanced, barely noticeable really
T+180 - Nausea same, less jittery body wise mentally still the same, but mentally tired also
T+240 - All effects diminishing.
T+300 - Went to bed, restless, took a bit longer than normal to doze off, considering it was about 3:30
Next day - No noticeable side effects
SWIM Drank half a bottle of Red Wine over the course of the evening, SWIM has a large tolerance for Alcohol, so this is is not enough booze to touch him in any significant way.
SWIM wound not pay for these, or every use them again, in his opinion they made the night less enjoyable than it would have been not on them.
