Liquid Hydrocodone

SWIM was legitimately prescribed liquid hydrocodone with acetaminophen (sp?) 7.5/500. Is there any recreational use for this or not? SWIM has never had any opiates before and wants it know if this would be a good place to start.

Oh hell yeah, taking a double dose should be enough to have you in a land of bliss for a few hours. Theres nothing like an opiate high my freind.

Consult the opiate dosages list...its a sticky thread in the opiate forum. 10-15 mg for SWIY's first time should feel pretty good. Just watch out for the addiction potential...and the fact that theres APAP in it which can't be easily extracted with a cold water extraction would make SWIM think that its not safe to take more than a double dose or so at a time.

BUT maybe a CWE can be done on liquid hydro/APAP. Anyone try this ever?

Last night SWIM took the advice SWIR gave and 2x dosed. Swim felt great after avout 45 mins, but soon got very nauseus and was stuck violently puking for 3 hours. SWIM is sick and hadnt eaten anything all day and thinks this might be the problem. The regular dose dosent even stop pain that well for him and has no euphoric feelings. Is there a good median between nothing and puking that SWIM is missing?

He will probably eat something and go at it again (hopefully with better results)

Lying down during the experience will dramatically reduce nausea, but you will find that this is a common problem experienced with opiate drugs. Many people with access to a wide variety of drugs will often use anti-emetics (anti-sickness drugs) to combat these effects. Many doctors would prescribe these kind of drugs legitimately for the sickness associated with normal level of opiate use.

A couple of examples are Cyclizine, Ondansetron or even drugs such as cannabis can have anti-emetic properties.

If SWIY is more interested in anti-emetics give me a PM or ask on this thread further and ill do my best to answer.

What about promethazine?

promethazine does work as an opiate anti-emetic, it is not the most effective at this but does have these properties. Be aware however that promethazine will increase both the potency of opiates and also increase the CNS sedation.

Dude. a double dose on swiy first go 'round was too big, especialy for hydro. Please read thread started by Stiffy. (sorry, swim thought this was stiffy who started the thread.)

Next time measure the dosage carefully before using. SWIY probably took too much. Look at the opiate dosages sticky thread for help. However if SWIY just jumped into a huge dose and had a bad time, taking less might work better next time, but it could also cause conditioned nausea so cyclizine might not be a bad idea. Opiates are nothing to casually mess around with, please be careful.

SWIM's prescription says 2-3 teaspoons full, had 5 tonite and didnt really notice much of an effect, maybe a little lazy, but that is probably from the bud. How can SWIM figure out how many miligrams of hydro are in a teaspoon, or is there a better way to measure it?

It should say on the bottle how many milligrams are in a certain amount of milliliters on the bottle. a teaspoon may not be very much, depending on the concentration. an eyedropper with milliliter markings could be picked up from a grocery store for cheap, or even using the plastic shotglass from a bottle of cough syrup would have easy to read milliliter markings. Just figure out the mg/mL, and then determine how much liquid hydro swiy would need in order to get 10 mg or so of hydrocodone in him. If 10 mg does not work, perhaps add 5 mg a coupe hours later, but do not exceed 15 mg on swiy's first night. Good luck to SWIY!

A quickside note a teaspoon generally = 5ml. make sure the bottle is shaken, with certain liquid medications some of the products can seperate a little giving a strange innaccurate product.

My only advice is to please be extemely carefull as if swiy has no tollerence then swiy could easily OD, so it would be best to start of small and add a little bit more after a couple of hours if there are no noticable effects. Have someone with you or a number to call if you start to have a bad time.

over the last few days, SWIM has experimented with dosages and has found a happy median. Dont know how many ml. , but 6 teaspoons has a nice relaxed feel. Definitly wasnt what SWIM expected, but it is nice.

SWIM is always careful when it comes to chemicals, especially new ones.

6 multiplied by 5 = 30ml

Im not sure on your particular product how much HC is in 5ml but that will tell you how much HC u have had.
