Swim just attached a joint to the bowl on his bong. He hasn't used it yet, but he can only imagine the hits it will produce!

It's simply a quick way to smoke a joint. Sort of defeats the purpose in a sense. A lot of people see bowls as a good way of sparing their weed without the need to fill an entire joint.

This method works really well for half smoked blunts that are becoming hard to hit, shit loads of extra suction gets those fattys smokin like a charm.

Well swim tried it out today, and he's pretty pleased with it. He got about twice as high as just smoking a plain J with it, but dont quote him on that.

Sorry im going to quote swiy on that anyway. I expect one reason he felt twice as high is because when he toked on the 'joint bong' he was getting much larger (and deeper) hits from the tobacco than he would have from smoking a joint normally.

Thing SWIM doesn't like about this technique is that the joint tends to
create a rather large and uneven burning tip.... wastefull.
But it's a funny novelty when all you have is a plastic bottle and a BIC pen.

For what? For the bottle? SWIM cannot punch nice holes into glass
McGyver style like he does with a .5L plastic water bottle.
Beer cans make shitty holes which don't seal airtight on their own.
The BIC pen? It doesn't even get warm enough.... The joint extinguishes
before being able to burn the pen.

What is the trouble with plastic?
Of course SWIM loves his glass bong, but he doesn't take it out of his house
because that would be simply asking for it to break.
When travelling, SWIM always carrys a little metal chillum/bong pipe.
He combines this with any .3L or .5L plastic bottle to create a makeshift bong.

hey man, don't worry, when swim broke his only bogn he had to use a .5l water bottle, and to his surprise it worked really well. swim loves smoking through water

Swim would recommend that you just empty the contents of the roach or piece of blunt rather than smoking it all straight from the bong. It can be nasty tasting and hard on the throat, especially if the filter gets torched!

swim once smoked an entire joint to deverginize the bong he made 4.5 feet with a 25 hole diffuser out of acrylic plastic with a glass on glass joint for a 2nd glass perc?? it got taken later that night.

SWIM and friends regularly smoke through Joint bongs, it's a lot more fun than toking, and due to living with parents its difficult for SWIM to look after a professional glass bong so SWIM tends to just use 1l plastic bottles, they do the job nicely
