Ive been doing various drugs (they need a new label, "drugs" sounds too dirty) for awhile now. I know my limits,I have a high tolerance for most substances, and recently Ive had the privilage to smokeOpium inlarge quantities . I dont have much experience with the drug, but usually you canget an idea of the drug after takingit, how it makes you feel, how your body reacts etc. As far as I can see, smoking Opium is a very good thing . Ima pretty experienced user, so if there was going tobe a problem,I'd probably notice it. I dont know much about Opium though, andwhat Ive readhas beenpretty vague. Are there any long-term effectsI might want to know about? Aside addiction. It really is becoming one of my favorite things. Thanks.

I hate to even post something like this, but actually opiates are some of the "safest" drugs in the long term. Where you run into a contradiction is in the area you already mentioned: opiates are physically addictive. AFAIK, opiates do not cause receptor degradation as some other drugs do, they do not last long in the body as other drugs do, they are not a significant source of free radicals, etc. Long term opiate use can cause a reduced resistance against infection, but this effect is not pronounced in moderate opiate users.

You forgot to mention that opiates can take your life faster than anything else out there. Don't try to glamorize shit that can tear families apart (yes I am biased).

that is not intirely true, yes they are addictive and take many lives, but what about car accidents. the biggest harm aside from addiction is in fact the smoking, since it is hard on your lungs ect. if use alternative methods the health risks are greatly reduced.

As with anything, a healthy respect for what and how you put things into your bodies will have many benefits.</font>
