names for heroin

SWIMs from southeast michigan, and SWIM has heard so many differant names called for heroin. some that are specific to his region are: Raw, Boy, Dogfood, Brown, Heron (pronounce hair-Ron), and the funniest is Blow. If you came into the city of detroit and asked somebody for "Blow" you're gonna get heroin, not cocaine. it's weird because everyone uses that term for coke. but not here. people will say "i need some blow" or "i need a blow" and they mean they need a pack of dope.

If SWIM had a really new, great name for heroin, he'd probably keep it a secret instead of posting it, so as to give the LE less to work with =]

However, he has always liked the term "brown sugar" and the succinct but apt term "junk".

might want to add chiva to the list. Which also is the only term SWIM has found to be understood anywhere in the states. SWIMs got the local lingo: brown, tar, balloons... but it never fails, he always reverts to the former when he finds himself in unfamiliar cities, holding his head down walking through the open markets whispering "chiva" under his breath is the only term that gets a resonse. Any other names and he gets the stink eye.

SHORE. I don't know why its called shore but everyone says shore around here in germany. Perhaps someone knows where this term came from...Another terms are MATERIAL and BUBBLES. I think these terms are well understood in NL, too.
Like brown in english its called braun in german. (Brauner, einen braunen, mit braunem)

around here there's China White (usually comes in capsules), or there's raw, which is pure uncut china . And then there's black tar, or brown, which SWIM thinks is shit. No one really uses other names for it. just china white or tar.

This is a Jiddisch/ Hebrew Word and means "Stolen Goods"
but it`s written "Schore"!

In Stlouis MO, it's reffered to mostly just as dope, but also brown, china (china white), pure or raw. A buddy once called a large chunk of black tar a Monkey Nut, which just makes sense.
