mushroom legal trouble

im desperately in need for any legal advice on possesion of shrooms.

i was in a friends truck when a cop pulled us over for speeding. my friend has a misdemenor (spelling) marijuana possesion charge so the cops searched the truck and found 1 mushroom stem on me but the cops didnt arrest me. i didnt realize i left it in my pocket and now im facing a felony charge since im in north carolina. the cop asked me to come talk to him friday the 6th so he'll b lenient at court which basically means he wants me to rat on some1.

any information on north carolina mushroom laws?? do i need to have a lawyer with me?? does it matter if i talk or not since it was only 1 stem??

i cant find any specific information online so thanks for the help,
