Cultivation - When can salvia divinorum leaves be harvested?

I've tried searching around a bit, but I've found no info on when one can harvest the leaves.
How big should they be before harvesting?
Does it matter if the plant is young?

Swim has a small salvia plant, it's only 20cm high, but quite bushy. The largest leaves are 15cm long and 7cm broad. I'm wondering if there is any point in harvesting the larger leaves, are they psychactive yet? I am not in a hurry to get Salvia, but cutting the larger leaves would encourage the smaller ones to grow, wouldn't it?

15 x 7cm sounds like a good picking point. SWIM also agrees that picking them would promote the smaller leaves to grow. Good luck!
