Do you mean "If one has mental problems with the use of LSD then will they stop if one stops using LSD"?

Cohen's seminal study of 1960 showed that psychosis was no more common in users of LSD than in the general population. LSD does not "cause" mental health problems but may unmask latent tendancies. Having said that, any person with a history (or family history) of mental illness would be unwise to to use psychedelics.

If an individual finds that drug use causes feelings/emotions that make them unhappy or unstable then of course use of that substance should cease. Hopefully with cessation of use then those thoughts/feelings will subside.
