about 20 minutes ago I smoked.5gm ofwormwood 10x resin extract by myself, that I ordered from an online vendor. From looking at it, it looked alot like weed even though it was resin. It didnt taste bad at all and smoked pretty smooth, before I cashed the bowl I was feeling pretty high, alot like bud but visually better. The stuff I got was said to be the best resin for being high in Thujone. Before the resin was gone I spricked about .2gm of pot onto it just to make things interesting, after I smoked it I came in to type this report and am high like when I used to smoke weed about 4 yrs ago and it would get me really baked. (haven't felt this in forever) So far this is the best marijuana substitute I have ever tried, It did much more than smoking kratom for me. |

That's wierd. I just got 10X resin extract, most likely from the same place. I smoked about half a gram, and didn't feel hardly anything. Maybe a mile relaxing feeling. I was looking for the visual or some sense of being high. Didn't happen. The salvia was crazy though.

Also might add, I bought the wormwood based on this posted experience. Has anyone had any success with wormwood other than robocop?

In my little town, there's a pharmacy that sells wormwood (15g for about 1$). Can I use it in my absinthe-making-process or is this somekinda crap? What do you think, ppl?

Wormwood is what makes Absinthe Absinthe! For more info look out for "Pharmoco/poiea" by Dale Pendell(pub, Mercury House,S.F)

I followed the "Pharmoco/poiea" by Dale Pendell" recipie to the letter and came up with two liters of Absinthe. I did hte recipie twice because in the finishing part you are to add 4.2g of mint. It did not specify what mint to use so I did one with spearmint and one with peppermint. The peppermint tasted better and smoother. I have tried soaking all of the herbs in alcohol and then straining and trying to drink. Done this way it if foul and extreemly bitter. The key it the distilation part, it causes so many of the bitter compounds to stay behind. Even then i mixed one shot of absinthe with 3 shots of sugar water (1 part sugar to 4parts water) and it was still strong. Nice buz though after two glasses of the above mixture. Very floaty. I have not tried the extract but i did grow my own wormwood. |

I purchased a bottle of Absinthe in London. It was from the Chek
Republic. It had all of the classic characteristics of Absinthe as described in the literature except one thing: thujone. Apparently this is the active ingrediant (other than the alcohol). If you could extract the thujone from wormwood and add it th the Chek product, I guess you would have the classic Absinth that all of those 19th century poets raved about. By the way the stuff tasted awfull! |
