swim has taken red dawn several times and has had a pretty intense trip each time. however swim is currently taking paxil and will probably reconsider taking red dawn again because dxm+any ssri can be pretty dangerous. but swim has also heard that ssri's block the effects of dxm but definitely felt pretty fucked up on red dawn which makes him wonder if dxm is actually an ingredient in red dawn. any thoughts?

Swims Marquis test does not detect DXM in Red Dawn. Perhaps it contains some kind of DXM analogue? Does such a thing exist?

DXM (dextro-Methorphan) is an intricate morphine-type molecule. Considering the facts that changing it a little bit would end up giving one a powerful narcotic worth lots of money, or be ridiculously difficult - the chances of such being a variant of DXM is extremely remote.

A full-scale chemical breakdown of these type of pills would be more than nice. Anyone got a free GLC rig?

Swim has two kinds of these red dawn vector pills..that list 1570mg of Fevizia,Palenzia and De La Amazone as the three ingredients, not the indian bromine shit.
One is pink and flat and the other is pink and domed.
Swim tried one of the domed pills last saturday, unfortunately swim rolled friday , so he cant really say for sure about them.
Swim took only one saturday, and actually puked...It seemed to swim like his vision may have been a little off, not bouncing around tho,and music actually sounded very good ..but there was definately no body high, like with MDMA, or feelings of empathy.
Swim will try the flat pink ones maybe this weekend, swim heard they werent as good or some shit, even tho they list the same ingredients.
On a side note...the GH Release..which is suppose to look like it says GHB..is a bunch of bullshit, but it will help you sleep according to swim.

I believe the "Indian Bromide = DXM" hypothesis is HIGHLY LIKELY. However, Nagognog2, said "it has been concluded" that the mystery substance is DXM. How did you conclude this so surely?? Chemical analysis?

Being VERY familiar with DXM (from many, many dozens of experiences), SWIM believes very strongly that a majority of the effects felt from this substance reflect the most common effects of a medium dose of DeXtroMethorphan (less than 250 mg) -- and other effects would naturally result from a somewhat synergistic combination of the "standard herbal ecstasy" incredients which this product REPORTEDLY claims.

DXM usually begins to be felt in about 3/4 to 1 hour, and it builds up slowly, getting stronger and stronger. DXM can often cause mild nausea -- and combined with alcohol (also SWIM has much experience with this - probably 12 times), it is much more likely that one will throw up. The simultaneous combination of the standard Herbal X ingredients with DXM and Alcohol is a VERY FUN combo!! SWIMs personal experiences show that mild alcohol consumption 2 average .02 BAC drinks per every 2 hours [that is, one 12 oz beer, 1.5 oz 80 proof liquor, or 5 ounces wine]) does not deleteriously affect the experience, and only enhances it. However, when one exceeds a standard "mild alcohol consumption buzz", vomiting is at least 75% more likely.

Communication is often more difficult or "weird" on DXM, although it can also be more lucid... Set and setting does seem to influence this, although it is HIGHLY variable for each person.

DXM is a "dissasociative," which would lead to feeling a strong "trip", and causing walking to feel weird. It mellows out and plateaus after about 2.5-3 hours and it lasts and comes down slowly for about another 3-5 hours.

It definitely can cause "euphoria" and "hazy" or altered vision (sometimes mild light patterning), and it definitely does not cause hallucinations in low-medium doses.

In summary, SWIM highly believes the dose in this product, if it is in fact DXM, is probably around 175-240 mg.

swim's never taken the real ecstacy before, but swim has taken red dawn before. (i now know what swim stands for, thank you).

so swim thinks Red Dawn sucks, and it tastes horrible.. swim agrees w/ philliyx review on red dawn... that is how swim's trip was...

but phillyx took 6 caps, swim only took 3 caps and experienced that.. no alcohol ingested, no oj, or sugar.. chased it down w/ water and gatorade.

the taste is bitter. but doesn't leave you w/ the feelin in your stomach that BZP does... but BZP to swim doesn't have a bad taste, and red dawn to swim is way worst tasting then BZP... but again swim didn't like the feeling in her stomach that BZP left... so this is where Red Dawn makes a difference...

effective as the real thing, swim never took the real e, but swim imagines from reports she's heard and ppl she's seen on the real e, that the real e is better then red dawn. swim was in control of her high for the most part while on red dawn, which is also a plus to swim.

swim didn't need to hydrate much while on red dawn. you can drink water, oj, anything really.

swim would order and try red dawn again, but they will have to make it way better tasting, way less bitter, and make it way sweet before swim ever tries it again...

oh and btw, the morning swim did this, was right after swim went to the gym to work out, then swim took it about 1 hour before swim had to go to work. so swim was a lil happy and high while at work.. but it's how swim was getting thru the day that day, that's why swim did it...

There was a red dawn epidemic in jax, fl the sex stores sold it and they were always sold out the day they got their shipments in. sooner or later they stopped selling it for reasons swim doesen't know. It is very intense and it is a hell of a trip. two to three tablets is absolutley mind blowing. very very similar to dxm. swim would not doubt it if they contained freebase dxm. dxm is known to have an extremely potent and tart taste beyond ones imagination. so it is possible that dxm could be an ingredient. swim loves red dawn but at his place of residence now there is no place to get them besides ordering them off a website but its not something he has pursued. he would rather just roll.

SWIY is correct... and ANYONE who has bought bulk DXM (hello SWIM!) will concur that Dex (aka, DXM) is one of the ABSOLUTE MOST HORRID TASTES IN THE WORLD!!

DXM definitely tastes just like a harsh chemical... Try to cap this yourself, and inevitably, even after you try to wipe any residue off the outside, you STILL end up tasting one of the most bitter and ASTRINGENT tastes you'll ever experience.... SWIM has done nearly every common recreational herbal extract -- even 10-25X stuff -- and DXM is on par with the most concentrated and astringent/shitty tasting Extracts you could find...

And DXM dosage is extremely sensitive to how much you have done DXM/cough syrup before... The 175-240 mg range SWIM proposes might be in a standard does is assuming those taking Red Dawn don't have a lot of experience getting F**ked on DXM/cough syrup. For people who have taken Dex many, many times, tolerance definitely develops quickly. The first 6-9 times you take DXM (as long as they're not less than 2 weeks or so apart), you'll get the BEST highs ever... After 10-20-30 times being high on Dex, even 300-450 mg of freebase isn't the same.

But SWIM WOULD definitely recommend trying DXM for those who haven't.... Seriously, it's one of the strongest, funnest, cheapest, and EASILY AVAILABLE drugs you might be able to acquire...

swim has never done real xtc before, but red dawn is supposedly stronger then real x, then swim thinks real xtc must be weak as fuck... swim's done red dawn before, and swim liked her trip on it.. a lil short lived, but swim like it and would do it again, cept red dawn tastes like ass... if they make it better tasting, swim will do it again...

from what swim has heard about real x and seen friends trippin, ain't no way red dawn is stronger then real x...

It seems only some batches of the Red Dawn are spiked with DXM, These will blow your head off, others seem have little effect. Perhaps they have changed the formula again . . . I'm tempted to move this whole thread to the dissociative or RC,s forum but recent reports seem to suggest it is now a bunk herbal product?

As for masking the taste they have already done this with Cherry flavor, if it still tastes that bad I guess strong juice concentrate may help.

swim is glad she read the other red dawn thread, cuase swim was originally going to ask if she could mix some red dawn w/ some alcohol (good tasting alcohol, or everclear) to drown out the bitter taste of RD... but seen that RD mixed w/ stuff can prove fatal, so scratch that idea...

swim liked the high she got off it, and would like to try it again but do more then 3 caps of it this time... maybe do 6 caps..

swim just hates the taste of it... is there anything swim can do in order to drown out the bitter taste of it? if not completely, then like at least by 50%?

swim once tried putting in lots of sugar, but it didn't help any... just made it thick and syrupy and still bitter...

hey I have an important question. SWIM here and a friend of SWIM'S took red dawn today and have been constantly been vomiting the entire time. SWIM'S friend isn't as bad as SWIM and SWIM is constantly screaming and vomiting since 11pm or so and it's 5:09 in the morning now.
I know there is a sick period when u drink red dawn bc I have experienced it for myself numerous times. they ate pizza before the drank it. I was going to see if it was because of this:
they chugged the 1.5 bottles in halves
was it because of this? a friend of mine and I have gotten just as sick in the past a few months back but we followed the directions but we still ended up sick as a dog by the end of the whole deal constantly throwing up for hours on end and massive stomach cramp when we can't even keep a sip of water down or anything.

does anyone know what could have cause this because SWIM is in serious pain and sickness and it isn't very normal for that to happen. they have basically been in the sick period the entire time.

About six months ago swim tried red dawn after a long time of not doing it and swim is 100% sure the forumula has changed since early 06'. First the color is a deeper red and the effects are way different. DO NOT MIX WITH ANY ALCOHOL, swim has friends who threw up for 48 hours and had to be hospitalized. SWIM took what he used to take around 6 caps and did not feel anything for about an hour. SWIM to some more i think around 4 and about 2 hours later it all kicked in. Very very bad time. Dizzy/nauseated for 24 hours, no joke. passed out for 5 hours woke up still f'd up. swim called poison control because everyone was throwing up. very bad time. then swims sober friend came over and drove them to hospital and got pulled over on the way...actually funny story haha cop was like ...whats going on, any illegal drugs? nah just allergic reaction. Upon reaching hospital everyone stared and stared. SWIM vowed never to do red dawn again. Instead just got real ectasy. SWIM now can compare the two and the 06' red dawn was much more pleasurable then the real thing. More intense then being high,drunk,and on speed at the same time. SWIM wishes they would go back to old formula.

SWIM takes Red Dawn. Only takes the Red Dawn Vector Shots, which are like only 2 oz. SWIM doesn't drink anything but water with Red Dawn.

Never felt like puking, Never had a bad trip. SWIM thinks everyone should try it and see for themselfs. Just don't take more then 2 ozs

Swim has done almost all Red dawn products, and swim had a blast! sidenote, the liquid Red dawn Tastes so bad!!!!!!! swim has just picked up the new Red Dawn Vector pills and swim is trying them as swim types this! red dawn also owns Club13 which makes the "Lifted" pills and they also sell salvia... but its of poor grade.

SWIM has taken Red Dawn 3 or 4 times now. SWIM always enjoys it! SWIM has never tried real X because SWIM is drug tested twice a month.

What is this Club13 lifted stuff? Should SWIM try that next?
