Chopping up and dogs?
SWIM was wondering, if he got pulled over and someone had chopped out lines on a cd/book and they brought out the dogs, not if it was cleaned off (have to lick it all up, cant waste) would the dogs smell it? if so is a cut up cd case/book enough to cause any problems?

I believe Mythbusters did a test on the amount of Cocaine in money...and there was quite a bit. (Don't quote me...look it up. I can't right now) so I don't think there would be a problem...we all have some carrying around with us?

Most dollar bills - $1, $5, $10, etc. - test positive for cocaine residue using the cobalt thiocyanate reagent the police use. Cobalt Thiocyanate will turn colors from contact with everything from cocaine to lead paint.
So some police departments will test, and sieze, your money as a result of this test. But here's the catch: You can get your money back if you can prove you never used it to snort cocaine (in an expensive and un-winnable trial)! Can you? Of course you can't! So now your money is contraband (and will never need be reported as you were not charged). And the police will tell you to shut up and feel lucky! Or they'll arrest you for disorderly conduct. Boy! Now, about SWIM's CD-case...ummm.... |
