Its about 10 times the amount needed to get a "buzz" if the alcohol is consumed in a 15 minute period. So, if the person is about 70 kg (154 pounds), and it takes them 2 drinks (33 g, apparently, from this site) to get a buzz, 330 g would kill them. Thats about 20 drinks in a 15-20 minute period. And thats assuming no other drugs are in the system. The presence of other drugs could make a lethal dose of alcohol much, much less.
