What drugs are banned in the EU?

The country in which SWIM lives (Romania) will join the European Union on January 1st, 2007.

SWIM knows that in european non-EU countries more pharmaceuticals are available OTC, and the drug laws are more gentle. Although Romania has harsh pharma laws compared to countries like Switzerland or the US (believe me, DXM is on prescription and ephedrine is pretty much unavailable), SWIM believes that these drug and pharma laws will become even worse after Romania joining EU.

So, does anybody have a list of pharmaceuticals/chemicals that are banned in the EU but still legal in non-EU european countries?

(SWIM wants to make some last-minute supplies before the EU nightmare comes in, and still has about 100 days remaining at the time this was posted)

Here you can read all about the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug addiction. The site has all the languages of the current members.

I have not yet found a list of substances.
Maybe you can search under Drug policy and law
