swim has taken 120mg today, crushed, and ingested by parachute in his dream... He is pretty much high at the moment, hes done much higher doses pretty often so his tolerance is starting to rear its ugly head. Swims personal process that he envisioned in a dream of course to reduce XR pellets>>>>Fine powder is below

Swim's method of crushing the extended release adderall pellets is pretty time consuming and a pain in the ass at times(unless swiy is already tweaking of course, because SWIM usually has the patience to reduce it to a fine dust by repeating the process over and over, its fun to him at the time). The finer powdered it is the harder it will hit, but wont last as long. If you have a better method of crushing these pesky yellow-orange pellets SWIM would appreciate a explaination very much. swim would also appreciate knowing a method of extraction of only the amphetamine from the pellets, as well as a possible method of making the less active components, Amphetamine Saccharate and Dextroamphetamine Asparatate Monohydrate more potent. Now here is swims tried and true method of crushing those frustrating pellets.

-sidenote-Ingestion of powdered Adderall will be more intense, but more short lived, swim suggests powdering half of swiy's dose, and leaving the other half in pellet form for a immediate rush, but the high that lasts longer and once the XR pellets get absorbed it is like peaking a second time, swim recommends ingestion by method of -parachuting-. Drinking a baking soda solution should speed up absorption, but drink too much, or SWIY will come down faster

-parachute- For those who dont already know "parachuting" is a dose of something wrapped up in the middle of a thin peice of napkin or toilet paper and swallowed. The powdered dose is put into the center one square of Toilet paper or napkin preferably 1 Ply, and the edges grabbed and twisted together tightly with excess paper *tail* ripped off. If its 2 ply Toilet paper just peel off one layer of paper off and put it in that.

~What is needed~

-Peice of computer paper~notebook paper will rip easy though, in swims dream notebook paper tore and made a mess and lost some product and had to recover it off the surface of a kitchen counter. so use white strong computer paper folded in half the long way, then unfolded so its creased down the middle
-Spoon
-Card or Razor blade
-The "goods" adderall XR pellets

.:Steps(for informational purposes only!):.

Step 1: SWIY will empty desired dosage of the pellets onto the middle of the paper(usually from 100mg-160mg is adequete) and refold it up lengthwise

Step 2: Fold the 2 sides that are open on the ends of the lengthwise folded paper over a bit so nothing comes out the sides of the paper in the process

Step 3: With the Extended Release pellets in a pile in the middle of paper thats folded lengthwise, with the sides folded closed, you may now proceed with beating the hell out of it with the spoon. Hit it hard with the spoon repeatedly and, when its slightly broken up from the treatment, you should put alot of pressure with swiy's thumb on the spoon and grind in a circular motion then rub it side to side.

Step 4:Unfold it from time to time and use the razor blade/credit card to scrape any chunks that may have gotten stuck on the paper, back into one pile in the middle of the paper, before beating/grinding it more

Step 5: Now you should take the time scrape the paper pretty hard(be careful if using razor blade dont wanna slice the paper its happened to swim luckily he didnt lose any product), some of the powder gets stuck to the papers surface that u wont be able to clearly see(remember waste=sin), when u scrape the paper surface somewhat hard it will most likely result in a small amount of fluffy snow-white, or off white powder, add that back to the main pile or take it and snort it for motivation to continue breaking it down, swim beleives the fine powder consists of amphetamines minus binders.

Step 5: Repeat this process as many times as nessescary until you have a fine powder, which will usually be off-white and yellowish in color, see step 6 for a VERY helpful process that results in a better end-product

Step 6(optional but highly useful) swiy should move the pile to one side of the paper and lightly run razorblade over the pile in a direction AWAY from them, with the razor blade edge facing swiy they should grab the non-sharp edge and tilt it upwards a little bit so about half of the flat surface of the blade is in contact with the powder, run the sharp edge somewhat lightly over the powder, but still touching the paper with the blade but lightly, move the blade slowly away from swiy. move it all the way to the other side of the paper, the finer powder will be spread along the paper in a trail behind the blade and the larger chunks will be at the end of the paper, and there are usually more chunks alongside the trail of the finer powder that comes off the sides of the razor blade. move all the chunks that are alongside the spread out powderm, to the other bit of still chunky material at the other side of the paper, you may now gather the finer powder into a pile very easily and remove it from the rest, now continue crushing the remaining chunks by the method above, swim usually repeats this process 4 times(or more if hes tweaked it entertains him). It takes swim about 8-10 minutes on a *good* day to turn 120-160mg of pellets, into a fluffy pale yellowish-orange powder.

Swim encourages you to have fun! but make sure SWIY stays safe, and doesnt do anything stupid that would raise an already high heartrate to dangerous levels, remember not to stay *UP* for more than about 3 days, that shit will start causing damage and make you crazy, stay hydrated!

this seems to be a somewhat common topic with lab rats. swiy's method sounds fine, swim would just warn future readers that 120 mg is a very large dose, and to not start with a dosage like this if swiy does not have a tolerance to adderall.

Swim is sorry about that, he has never really found 120mg of (!XR!) to be that high of a dose, but he understands some people may be different, swim seems to have a naturally high tolerance to amphetamines, even when he hardly ever indulged, it always took more of it for him than other people.... 90mg-100mg will only give him a buzz now though ( oh well, he has a constant of 40mg a day and is trying to get an additional shorter acting Adderall(NON-xr) dose for when he gets home from school because the medicinal 40mg will have worn off by then, making doing homework a pain in the ass.

That's true, but even with non-tolerant people, 120 mg isn't exactly a "large" dose, but will definetly have an effect. It can be considered large, but not exactly dangerous, because a toxic life threatening dose is much larger than that actually.

ahh, swim guessed that swiy might be using adderall as prescribed as well. i believe swiy saying that 120 mg was the dose he used, i just wanted to warn other lab rats that THEY should not jump right into that kind of dose if they do not have a tolerance. but there was no problem with swiy's post stating the dosage per se =]

out of curiosity, how long has swiy been taking prescription adderall? swim is trying to learn more about how quickly tolerance to amphetamines develop when they are used daily. this would also help other lab rats figure out their recreational doses in relation to their level of tolerance (or lack thereof).

for a lab rat who uses stimulants infrequently or not at all, 15-20 mg adderall should be fine for their experience.

Swim has been on it for quite some time, maybe 8 months(he used to be on it when he was 12-13 but abused it and got caught so it went bye bye, took some convincing and a different doctor to get it back), but its hard to judge his tolerance because swim uses it inconsistently, he will use the prescribed dose or a bit more for school purposes usually, then he will start saving them up 40mg per day, because the person who dispenses them to swim feels the need to regulate them... geee wonder why! He will save up a few days and go without any dose on those days(usually taking some other drug to cope with irritability, and lack of hunger usually marijuana), then when he has over like 100mg saved up he will take that for recreational purposes. He usually takes HIGH doses(120-200mg) on days usually with a purpose or goal in mind(along with recreational purposes) that amphetamines would be benificial for, such as big tests, lots of homework, significant social events, yard work, weight loss to counter weight gain from smoking weed, weight lifting(with clonidine pills on hand to lower heartrate+blood pressure at will), and just generally days he must get alot done but wants to feel high in the process. But today swim did it because he was bored and felt like tweaking. Swim is beginning to think crushing up the pellets isnt worth it, its like the "short term pleasure, long term pain" concept, for the price of getting a good bit higher for a short amount of time, you will come down sooner than the pellets being parachuted unaltered, and end up wasting your shit in the end. What swim likes about taking the pellets unpowdered is the effect of 2 separate peaks, 1 dose is released pretty quickly then the second dose(time released) hits you, and you become even higher and feel great

A plier-like tool that can exert a moderate amount of pressure and can be used with ease and comfort is great for the job, because the common method of using a razor blade just doesn't work with that.

swims method for crushing adderall is using two picture frame glass things, and a book. simply put swiy goods between plates of glass, press book on top as to not break the glass plate on top and rotate the book and top piece of glass back and forth.

it takes swim about 45 seconds to turn the pellets into fine powder.

Cave writings revealed compliments to the-above-not-named. The efficacy of a shot glass and screwdriver can not be overemphasized. SWIM tried a pill crusher and it was useless for XR pellets. Accounts of folded paper and batteries etc. were only marginally effective.

After some clown crushed their xr pellets into fine powder, placing it under their tongue seemed to work out very well.

SWIM's method for crushing the balls is to simply use a "spice grinder" (mortar and pestle). Put the balls in the bottom and grind them up to a fine powder in seconds.

I flod a sheet of paper in four place de balls in the middle. Fold the paper and use a AA battery to crush!!

The mortar and pellet method is, of course, the best, the result is very fine dust. And it takes only seconds. But if one doesn't have this "equipment", just be creative. SWIM once crushed some pills in a bus stop, using a sheet of paper and his keys (and the pills of course).

Does crushing change something about the long-release feature of the pills? I mean, does crushing deactivate long-release?

SWIM has found a great method, all you need is the cellophane from a cig pack, a bic lighter, and the obvious pellets required. pour them into the cellophane, fold it over and place it on a hard surface. Roll the bic over it for about 30 seconds and you should have a nice berry-flavored powder ready to go. Good luck!*

Sometimes it sounds like people like the whole crushing process and do it just to do it. If you have a doctor who perscribes your adderall, simply ask if you can try the IR tablets to see how they work. An instant release tablet will work just like a parachuted xr, no assembly required either, so unless you don't get to decide which one to take, or any situation where XR is the only thing available, the only reason you would rather crush xr capsules instead of just taking an IR tablet would have to be because of stupidity.

SWIM uses a small electric coffee mill for all his pill-grinding needs. It cost money as new so it didn't ruin SWIMs budget and has come in handy many a time over the 4 years he has had it and even though it can complain and moan underways it always leaves a nicely fine powdered result, the only downside is that often a thin layer of powder gets stuck around the inner surface of the 'grinding-chamber' which can be a bit of hazzle to scrape out.
SWIM usually grinds 50-100 pills at a time and may take 30-60secs to get the job done.

I am surprised no one has mentioned using two spoons. In swims dreams all it takes is two spoons a razor blade and a hard surface. The spoons crush the little balls to a decent size then the back of one spoon + the hard surface get it to the desired consistancy.

This is swim's preferred method of crushing XR pellets as of recently. He may go ahead and get a mortar and pestle in the future, but was pleasantly surprised with how well the spoon method worked.

I don't think it would need to be water soluble for that to work, provided you got everything from the cup into your stomach. But do the XR beads actually melt in hot liquid? The immediate release ones would definitely, but the extended beads are designed to take 4 hours to dissolve. How fast does it usually take all the beads to dissolve in a boiling cup of tea? Also, is there the possibility of damaging the amphetamine molecules (similarly to how THC molecules can be damaged from being cooked at too high a temperature) by subjecting them to such heat?

SWIM loves inhaling crushed 20xr adderall or 30xr focalin...

SWIM takes a piece of computer paper, folds it "hamburger style," folds the edges over and folds the last open edge shut

then SWIM opens the paper back up and dumps the pellets near the center in a small pile. SWIM then closes the paper back up and rolls a pint glass over the pile until a fine powder forms. SWIM then uses a card to scrape the powder off the paper and has his way with it
