Allowing amphetamine base to dry out
swim usually gets his base in a putty kind of form - swim was wondering if there was any benefit, or even any detrament to be had from allowing it to dry out? swim always does his best to keep it as airtight as possible, and try to retain the "dampness" if you will. Is this going to make any difference to the quality? swim thanks you in advance for any advice

Swim prefers to keep his in the damp if he is planning on using it in a relitavely soon. It makes it easier to take in a paste and he prefers it because its "new". Not sure how time affects the strength. If swim doesn't plan taking for a while he will let it dry out and then put the powder in capsules.

swims thought has always been that if its 'pasty' then its fresh - not sure if this has any logic behind the thought though - swim does find it easier to bomb though when like this so not complaining just wondering if there was any method behind the madness

SWIM was wondering why UK stuff is like putty in the first place.
SWIM never seen putty before until they got back into it a couple of years ago. SWIM misses not being able to toot it. |

Re: Allowing amphetamine base to dry out
I Find that all that barely visible stuff stuck to the bag after you've ate all of it will get me more fucked than the first bomb.
Just dip your baggy in a drink and wash about, and when you take it out of the drink make sure you lick off the excess water...a lot of it stays on the baggy haha. But yeah, it seems that if you dry it the good stuff sticks to the bag.. not fun when snorting. =( |

Re: Allowing amphetamine base to dry out
Meth is water soluble, it will "melt" if exposed to high humidity. Swim would place bag in airtight container with a dessicant. Overnight the "pastey" would become crunchy and "lineable" or smokeable. Swim has been told it can effect potency, but swim never noticed any drop of such. Quite the opposite in fact, it went further because it was able to be broken into smaller doses. spread out over more time in usage. the dessicant was "silica gel" it can be dried out in oven and used over and over.

All water soluble salts are hygroscopic (they attract water).

You are SO right noobadooba.
Swim agrees that the last bits on the bag are top notch, much more potency than the first hit and that shouldn't be right. Swim would like to tell you he saves those bags up all through the year, but he cant. Swim is greedy ! |

Re: Allowing amphetamine base to dry out
swim has friends who go and split swim's bags tryna lap it all up like....
swim's main problem with that there's usually half the f**kin' base in the bag when they crumble and crave and that they are ruining valuable baggies obviously.. swim wants a collection of neat, nice & bitter baggies that don't leak phet all over swim's clothes and all else |
