Fat Joint or Thin Joint?

SWIM would just like to know what type of joints everyone prefers and why. He has already come across a hell of a lot of people with different preferences and would like to explore more.
To keep it simple if everyone could explain their favourite type of joint rolled with just one king sized rizla that would be very helpful. I'm looking for details such as skunk, hash or weed, fat or thin coneand how much compared to tobacco if you use any tobacco at all etc. If you could also leave a picture that would be cool, thanks.

SWIM personally likes lots of thin skunk joints with quite a bit under 50% tobacco with most filling out down towards the roach. He likes the tokes to be easy but not have the zoot rinsed too quickly if not toked on that often. He also loves roaches that are perfectly cylindrical and feels extremely good smoking a joint with a really good roach, (even if the difference in tokability is quite small.)
An example of the kind of joint SWIM could enjoy smoking would be like as followed. Sorry but he only took this on a crap camera phone and doesn't have any better pictures lying around at present.

SWIM is very fond of hashish, especially some good pollen or libanon rouge.
SWIM always twists thin joints in a smoking master paper, with 1/3 of a cigarette, wether it be a hash or weed joint.
SWIM alway's twists "M" roaches, which rolls and smokes the best in his opinion.

Swim rolls all sorts of joints, depending on what he has and how he feels.

Swim almost always uses smoking slim papers though he can roll with anything.

For hash swim generally uses tobacco filters, and cones heavily.


For weed swim generally uses cardboard filters and spliffs. If he wants to roll thin he will roll a dutch joint that doesn't cone past the size of the filter. Otherwise he may cone it.

He likes long thin joints for the most part, though if he is rolling up alot then a nice exponentially expanding cone is sweet.

SWIM likes thin joints when smoking on his own or with only a couple of friends. But when the party buzz is on and theres a session to be had SWIM will roll up a nice big joint so the whole bloody room gets a smoke and gets wrecked. Peace

SWIM rarely rolls joints as he finds them wasteful. However, for social occasions, joints have been rolled to about the same thickness as regular cigarettes, tobacco free, with a small piece of cardboard rolled as a filter into the end for smokability. Usually pretty kind bud.

swim takes the best of both worlds... a coned L-skin, king-skin or preferably longer O -that size at the roach end and about finger width at the other. cutters choice baccy and sum homegrown about 50/50 in baccy/weed ratio although swims meant to be quitting baccy in 2 weeks. oh yeah... must be thin papers for swim.

SWIM has heard a very big rumour that apparently silver rizla papers have chlorine in them. He was just wondering if anyone else knew if this was true or not. Also he was wondering who smokes very long joints, (10 inches plus), and if anyone smokes them often. SWIM has once had a 50/50 15 inch with 4 friends of his and very much enjoyed the experience. Also whats the longest zoot you have ever smoked.

swim rolls med sized, all marijuana joints. swim doesnt mess around with mixin mary j and tobacco but he lives in US so its not as popular. mostly smoke joints to the head or 1 other person and leaves a decent teed up roach for the bong...

swim only rolls joints with sub-par herb. 0% tobacco is the standard around here. swim generally uses a 1.5' to roll a joint about the thickness of a normal cigarette. depending on the quality of the product, 2 people could get pretty high. swim definitely prefers smoking bowls for good herb, as one bowl or less can get swim really high, thus saving more for later.

Swim always liked smoking out of a joint because they are easy to roll. SWIM will admit though, he cant roll a blunt for shit. lol if swiy has nothing to roll with one could easily use yellw book paper lol. To SWIM a fat join or a thin joint doesnt really matter to him as long as its not rolled too tight. The one will have to take a hit stronger then ever. not too loose because then it wont burn right, gotta make it just riiiight.

He rolls with most paper, due to he usually forgets his own, so he rolls with Rizla (kingsize - the orange one), Hemp Smoking or his favorite, the black OCB

He rolls with "M" roaches, but has moved on to "\/\/\___" (hope that made sense).

His filters are usually between 1-2cm in diameter, so there's a lot of smoke getting through.

He always smoke hash, and he find it better to smoke a big fat joint (say, 2 grams of hash and 3 smokes), due to the smoke is much lighter, which makes the joint taste better in his opinion.

SWIM prefers fatties overall, mostly because there's more weed in them.

But with a thin joint, all the smoke gets concentrated through a small point of weed, which get's it soaked in resin.

SWIM loves to roll the fattest spliffs of some dank. Big spliffs with good filters...

SWIM rolls using cutters choice tobacco (unless there's some vanilla going around), Black ROOR rizlas and high quality herbs. He takes about 70% herb to 30% tobacco and always rolls up a small ball of tobacco to place infront of the roach so that it works as a filter. SWIM always uses an M roach and precision cuts it to size using a swiss army knife. Always slightly conical and ending in about the width of a cigarette. Any rizla overhang at the end of the roach must then be cut off before smoking.

SWIM prefers to smoke pinners as he has mastered the way to roll them! SWIM really likes smoking a fattie once in a while though
