SWIM would still use dextroamphetamine pharmaceutical, maybe 15mg, only when needed. not to get high, to get stuff done. And a question... how come the first three members to post are banned? can SWIM ask that?

Nik (no-one I know) does not require the use of any type of downer or benzo, he has done amp for the longest time usually daily and is pretty much amune to the stuff, yes he does get up , but he can always go to sleep when the day is done, unless there is something going on. He does enjoy smoking herb and drinking a beer or two before bed, but is no way not going to skip the amp just because there may not be a few beers in the frig. or bong hits in the tray. SWIM regularly used to do uppers such as X and Amphetamines without anything else.

in fact SWIM had a three day bender on just Amphetamines back in april.

Swim usually decides that upps without downs can be bad, especially when activity soon after is necessary. As long as Swim has food, black coffee, and cigs....Swim has been known to go for long speedy runs w/o a safety net. Although, Swim notes that opposites dont always attract and as the song goes, Amphetamines and Jellybeans work well in tandem.

SWIM is not a "tweaker" but he would use stimulants without the presence of calmatives.
However, he would certainly be careful not to "abuse" stimulants if there were no possible self-treatment for over-reactions. If recreational use were involved, that would mean a lot of caution, gradual intake, that sort of thing. It would matter less with shorter-acting stimulants (e.g. cocaine), and clearly would be even more important with the longer acting examples.

Aren't the first two sentences SWIY posted above contradicting each other? SWIM misses the connection between the two.

In any case, it's a bit amusing that SWIY finds food and black coffee (another stimulant) critical . That is certainly interesting, and SWIM can see from a why from a "comfort" perspective; but it's still kind of funny .

Well SWIM gets confused sometimes, however SWIM generally means that speedballin' w/o benzos to relax afterward is a primary preventive to such said activity. The cigs, black coffee (kona run through twice), and skittles/jellybeans confuse SWIM to a semi-quasi state of functionality.
SWIM says light 'em if ya got 'em.

SWIM doesn't understand where the all the benzo's and heroin went? Yeah, SWIM would probably still take his amphetamines but he'd have to plan more when he'd be taking his amphetamines/stimulants. SWIM has a problem w/ people who think smoking pot is okay but benzo's and other downers aren't. Sure grass isn't physically addictive like benzo's or heroin but at least they don't turn you into a bore and make you a different person.

To answer the original question, I asked Tito Velalobo the bum in my neighborhood. He's done it all. Tito says fawk no there is no way in hell you'd ever have gotten him to take an upper with out the proper downer. Typically always alcohol. Sometimes just weed or alcohol and weed. Occasionally even the valiums. You see it's all about the altitude control according to Tito.

Tito's not wise, but he knows drugs.

Believe it or not, swim never did use any of that crap and swim was a hardcore IV meth user. Swim likes the comedown. The only help swim ever had was some marijuana on occasion. Swim had swims problems after the first day of sleep. Then swim was in hell.

A question for SWImethMADMAN- what exactly does SWIY mean by "liking the comedown"? By saying SWIY likes it SWIM interprets that as SWIY getting some kind of pleasure from it. SWIM can find nothing pleasurable about speed comedowns and is very curious as to SWIY's perspective on them

Swim really doesn't know why, but swim never "jonesed" If swim was at the end of a run, or swim was out of meth, as long as swim has nothing swim had to do, swim just enjoyed coming down, especially things like sex and just feeling those frayed ends of sanity slipping away. Swim would often smoke pot at the end of a tweak and play on the puter. The only thing is after swim had gotten some, but not enough sleep then swim was in hell

Swim woud still do uppers, only downer swim uses is alcohol but the uppers just eliminate it. Swim can easily take some E and drink a litre of vodka and still not get to sleep untill he has went through most of the comedown.

SWIM hasn't used meth in a while, but the handful of times he has used, he made sure to have either

a)GHB
b)Ketamine
c)alcohol
d)pot

or a combination of any of the above on hand. The comedown from meth is just too much for SWIM to bother handling without a downer to take the edge off. So to answer your question, no he would not do it without the aid of downer.

SWIM would definitely continue meth/amphetamines/mdma without the use of downers because SWIM could always binge until SWIM crashes on day 5 or 6 lol

SWIM finds that limited use of stimulants doesnt make it difficult to come down, while extensive use warrents either 1) the use of downers or 2) bingeing until SWIY crashes. heheh
