What's SWIY's favorite social buzz?

SWIM has seen people do both coke and speed when making public apperances (Hitler, JFK, etc), and often on TV interviewes, especially musicians. Like an interview SWIM recently saw with Robbie Williams (rerun), he was obviosly coked/sped up.

It's widely known that stimulants can make people more confident, outgoing, "charismatic" and soscial, but is one better than the other? And how does SWIY feel they're different?

swim def prefers coke when partying but speed while working...

swim doesnt really like either but he does a lil yay about once/2 weeks or so. swim works great on speed because hes more stable and focused while working...

wat proof do u have of hitler and JFK doin coke or speed during public appearences...?

SWIM was just using examples. He have seen both of them mentioned doing speed on a discovery show, found it interesting, and made a thread, some other members had more thourogh info on it. check it out/discuss it here

Cocaine doesn't do much for SWIM, when he does amphetamine he is very talkative and much more open.

Swim enjoys the feeling of coke more than speed but speed probably makes him more talkative than coke.

SWIF finds MDMA a better social drug than both cocaine and speed. That said a small combination of MDMA and speed proabably makes the perfect social drug, not that SWIF encourages polypharmacology.

Well, both actually .. If he would have to do a interview he would think about what he would say, not any BS, it would make him very confident and very easy to talk.
If he would be with other people he will probaply talkt to much, still no BS, but it might get annoying for other people who have to listen to it.
SWIM wouldn't want to use MDMA as a social stimulant in every situation, only when he is with very good friends as he might be to open with things he talks about, he doesn't want to share those things with a stranger sitting next to him in a cafe or pub.

swim would say just good old fashioned caffeine. nothings better than just sitting around buzzed on a few sodas or energy drinks and just shooting the shit. well maybe alcohol but thats for a different forum.

One of the guys working in Spuiten en Slikken, actually took coke before he did an TV-interview, and it is in episode 2 - cocaine

in the beginning of the interview he didn't look so confident, because of the closed body language he displays, but it might be due to something they said. Not sure cause I can't understand Dutch ..

Cocaine, definitely. SWIM does not like speed at all, but loves the mellow high of a good cocaine.

The difference? ISHO speed is a mere physical stimulant, cocaine is more about the brain and produces a true high and euphoria.

Unfortunately the quality of cocaine has decreased over the years, and therefore the difference may have become less clear, esp. if a coke has been stepped on with speed. Coincidently, SWIM has just made a post about the quality of cocaine over the years. He'd love to hear your opinion on this matter there.

Low doses of opiates work best for swim, in terms of being social and not having to retreat to the bathroom every 15 minutes to do a line.

swim agrees. opiates last longer than coke and make him want to interact with people, even if he wouldnt normally like them. mostly swim thinks he likes hearing the sound of his own voice prattling on. he gets anxious and withdrawn on stimulants.

heh, when swim does opiates he wants to stay away from everyone and just be alone and enjoy the high but to each his own.

XTC. Nothing is better, but XTC is rather a entactogene.
