Maybe Valium,Ive heard of Valium in liquid form, they prob would use that to IV after a small surgery like that.

valium is indeed available in liquid form. not sure what they dissolve it in since benzos are generally insoluble in water, but the injectable forms are sometimes used during surgeries.

In the Uk: Diazepam, Lorazepam and Midazolam are all available in iv forms. Diazepam and Lorazepam are licensed for use in status epilepticus and Midazolam is used for sedation for procedures.
Diazepam is an emulsion, rather than being dissolved. Midazolam is not water soluble, but the hydrochloride salt is. Lorazepam is mixed with polyethylene glycol and propylene glycol. |
