BLACkthorn or sloe

wasnt sure where to post this. but has anyone eva heard of smoking the bark off a Blackthorn tree, it produces sloes (little purple berries) its simliar to hawthorn.

My mate from work tried it with this hippy dude from an agencey. he said it was good made him trip!!

i tried some with a friend, took some bark of the trunk, dried it smoked it in a spliff....tasted nice! had a speedy feeling for about 20 minutes. My pupils went a bit wide for a moment, so my mate said. Ive checked erwoid! love that site! introduced me to nutmeg years ago!!

i was just wondering, if u collected the bark at the right time, say maybe spring when the cambium is flowing with the trees goodness, maybe the effects will be stronger, as i presume pickin it at this time of year, all the goodness will be in the fruit.

sounds like a bunch of bs type of stuff, no offense. Swim bets the effects are mild if not due to placebo.... idk though havent tried it, no info on erowid... swim is not a nutmeg enthusiast either though, swim tried that and then smacked himself for everything thinking of doing something that dumb... aight man if it feels good, right on, but doesnt sound extremely pyschoactive... why not just drink a cup of coffee for a mild stimulant effect instead of scraping bark off a tree, and then smoking it... cup of coffee sounds easier, and well if that doesnt cut it go for the adderall... But swim thinks maybe sometime in the future he will give this bark a shot if it crosses his path...who knows even jesus can be wrong lol
