Are dexedrine pills good for a rave and are they fun...Swim wants to try tehm and wanted to know if it's a good high ?

thats a very subjective question. many people seem to enjoy dexedrine pills. they certainly would give swiy energy to dance (just remember to stay hydrated, but not overhydrated). however some people dont get much euphoria from them, which would not make them fun in that case. dont expect an MDMA-like experience either, although MDMA is an amphetamine there is many differences between it and dexedrine. if swiy is familiar with the effects of other stimulants, e.g. coke, ritalin, etc. then swiy could compare those to dexedrine. but no one can tell swiy if its a good high, everyone is different. the best thing to do might be to search for experience reports on this forum and on erowid, read both the good and bad experiences, and keep those in mind. maybe try out dexedrine first in a non-rave setting and see if swiy even enjoys the effects at all before taking it at a rave. but really, only swiy can answer these questions after research and experience!

Dexerdine pills are very fun but be careful about overheating, they raise body temperature and blood pressure very high. Also, if they're dexedrine capsules you'll probably need to crush the beads because they are time-released. Crushing the beads will make a huge difference.

Don't most go to raves for music, dance, and some kickass visuals? TheFonz recently read a story about raves and before XTC was around people were droppin' acid and then going to a rave....

TheFonz talked to Sampson and Sampson seems to think it would be an added choice to any "weekend drug arsenal" rotation, but thinks there is better out there......

Watch your hydration for sure. mixing any amphetamine with DXM or a phenylethylamine will raise your pulse up into the 120-130 area just sitting still so keep things like that in mind. If it is just Dexedrine Swim would take 40mg being that SWIM is 189 pounds.

What are you talking about? Dextro- and levo- amphetamine do the same thing to the brain, only dextroamphetamine is much more active. When you say that dextroamphetamine 'reacts with the brain for a smoother and more effective mental performance' what do you mean exactly? Smoother than what? And the main substance that does the CNS stimulation, as you put it, would be dextroamphetamine.

When you say they are time released what exactly does that mean. how would i go about in crushing the beads ? Are dexedrine tablets the same as yaba pills from thailand and which one would be considered more fun ?

Time released capsules are made up of beads of amphetamine in layers of polymer coating and amphetamine which delays the absorption time. Pulling apart the capsule, pouring out the beads and crushing them to a powder will make it absorb instantly. If you have the triangle orange tablets (5mg, I beleive) then this is not necessary. Although you can acheive effects without crushing the time release capsules it will likely last way too long and add to the bad side effects, not to mention a less intense high. Dexedrine is Dextroamphetamine and to my knowledge yaba pills are slang for methamphetamine pills in which case they are similar but yaba pills would be much stronger. As for how to crush the time release beads, a pestle and mortar is best from SWIM's experience.

"Recreational value/fun" = Rate of Absorption => Rate of Comeup

Diet, surface area, chemical characteristics, genetics, and method of ingestion all effect the rate of absorption.


The comeup for Dextroamphetamine is faster than Levoamphetamine, applying the above info should answer all questions....

And, Yaba pills contain about 25-35mg of Meth and 45-65mg of Caffeine and are from Thailand. So no they are not dexedrine......As far as which is more "fun", that is subjective......

My doctor perscribed both types so I could see which one I wanted to be put on, and the regular actually felt much weaker and had less of an effect on me.
