Combinations - cocaine and psilocybin / mushrooms

Swim ate some shrooms last weekend, and had a wonderful time, although swim believes it could have lasted longer. The thing is, about 2 hours into the trip, swim did 2 large lines of cocaine. The immediate feeling was said to be amazing, but shortly after, swim stopped tripping completely. All of the detail was missing, the vibrant colors were gone....swim was normal again. Swim later told some friends about it and found out that apparently he was the only person that didn't know that cocaine cancels out the effects of shrooms. Can any other experienced persons vouch for that?

Swim is interested in cocaine and how it works in comparison to and along with other drugs. When swim does coke alone, it is great for a while but afterwards swim becomes very depressed. When swim does cocaine and smokes weed along with it, the depression never comes, and he is let down gently.

Swim may sound silly with saying this, but realize swim is not a neurologist or anything of that nature. The only way swim can describe what happens is with cocaine, it seems like all of the existing neurotransmitters which are affected are released all at one time, but does not stimulate the production of those neurotransmitters, so once they are gone you fall into a depression until you naturally create more. And it seems with marijuana like it stimulates the production of the dopamine/seratonin(whatever it is), which could be the reason why swim escapes the depression when using both at once.

Swim is also interested in how cocaine and psilocybin interact, why does it cancel the effects of the psilocybin?

Be careful. Coke puts a strain on the heart, and weed will jack up SWIY's heart rate pretty high on top of it. Might be worth finding a better combination (e.g. benzos + cola) or just waiting until a good while after coming down before smoking any weed.

Not too far off. Coke both stimulates neurotransmitter release and simultaneously blocks their reuptake. That definitely depletes them bigtime, all of them actually (dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine) which is why the crash can be so nasty after a long run.

I doubt it. SWIM has used kratom to escape depression during a crash, and kratom doesn't accelerate the production of neurotransmitters (rather, it stimulates opiate receptors). More likely, the high from the weed simply overtakes the depression and SWIY feels good from its effects. Aren't there THC receptors of some sort in the brain?

Anytime SWIM has tripped (Acid or Mushrooms) coke has only intensified trip... Last Weekend after drinking 12 oz of shroom cool-aid, trip began dying after 3 hours, when SWIM took a line, the trip came back.. VArying per person?

SWIM would definitely have to say yes on this one. SWIM thinks the come down of coke is bad enough (paranoia, cravings, depression, irritability, the list goes on) and mushrooms will intensify pretty much anything SWIY is feeling or thinking so all the bad will get worse.

yeah, get SWIYourself some xanax - itll kill some of the visuals but a lot of the paranoia, which SWIM imagines is well worth it. bad-trippin on a hallucinogen is something swim never wants to do.

Bad combination. SWIM has tried it and it had undesirable effects such as intense sweating, edginess and general discomfort.

You should try and be more specific next time, but I assume SWIM is tripping at the moment. I found this trip experience from Erowid...it may help.
Apparently coke and mushrooms isn't the best mixture, but I think SWIY should be fine. My guess is that it mess with the heart beat and is mentally a lot to handle. Hope for the best and ride it out.
