Newbie question about dosage

Hello,

SWIM will soon be attempting a DMT extraction with the aim of getting enough crystals to try the stuff out. The problem is he is unclear what the ideal first time dose should be, or how to accurately measure the dose. He has a set of scales they can measure 0.1g increments, but isn't an active dose in mgs? How do you measure that!?

Any advice/recommendations etc would be most helpful.
