Nutmeg and Nitrous Oxide

When SWIM first tried nutmeg, he used almoust 30g of nutmeg powder. But even after more than 90 minutes, no effects did occur. Then he inhaled some nitrous, and right after the short nitrous trip, something bigger got started. Does anyone know if it was synergistic or just chance???
