Out of house stash(Legal chems. only)

Swim has sand nearby and quite a bit of it. It has stayed undisturbed for the last 3 yrs bringing up the possiblity of a chem. stash that is water proof for all of swims legal chems for simple and fast extractions(naphtha, butane, ammonia, possibly HCL and Sulfric acid in future) Swim is concerned about chemicals lying around to be found by cops/P. O. or anyone that would go to cops. Also swim thinks this is way safer to avoid accidents or if a fire were to break out there would be an evidence of chemicals laying around or be accused of them as an accelerant. Swim was thinking of a water proof container that could be placed in a hard to see area under a foot or two of sand the reason for the hard to see area is so that its not obvious that the ground is being tampered if it was in plain site. Also cushoning for glass bottles so they don't break when retrieving. The site would be visited case removed then placed back within half an hour usually at night for security purposes. Any comments or question would be appreciated.

Swim should have expected that after swim put "Any comments or question would be appreciated." but swim has good faith that no children are going to plan in this sandbox cuz it hasn't been disturbed in years. Seriously though does it seem practicle to keep legal chemicals stored like this because it is one of Swim's best idea at the time to keep chemicals around when Swim has to do some chemistry experiments for class.....

Most kids will shy away from the old POISON plus skull-and-crossbones, and VERY clear markings of such all over the container would be the absolute minimum that you should do to protect the safety of others if you do decide to try such a stashing place. Most likely a kid'd call his/her parents, who would call the cops... best keep your fingerprints off it if you do it. Sounds like a pretty sketchy plan to me, though. Surely there's a better idea out there.

if you are going to bury it in sand, why not just bury it in an area much less likely to be disturbed, it is the same thing. one would probably want to box everything up in a nice box, label it with poison signs and bury the whole thing in ground near house.

bury it in the backyard where nobodies gonna stumble on it and call the cops.

As others have cogently pointed out, this isn't as great or foolproof a plan as you may have originally thought.
