Working Out and Drugs
SWIM is planning another trip. SWIM gets relaxed after he works out and figure that this could be a good thing to do before tripping on a drug like HB woodrose, seeing as there are reports of it slowing bloodflow, and the workout would increase bloodflow. SWIM also thinks that since your metabolism is boosted after you work out, it might be a good idea to dose after a work out so the drug will come on faster. SWIM wants to know what your opinions are on this matter.

If HBWR constricts your arteries, thereby decreasing bloodflow to extremities, wouldn't your muscles already be starved for oxygen due to decreased bloodflow ? Working out would make that worse. When SWIM tried HBWR a long time ago, the biggest thing SWIM did not like was the pain in the legs and arms from vasoconstriction. It could be much worse if your muscles were sore, and it would probably not help.
Otherwise, it should not be a problem. The vasoconstriction has only been a problem in the past for SWIM with this particular seed. |

Working out creates a lot of muscle tension for the entire day, at least in Swims experience. Sometimes even nausea and headaches. Swim wouldn't do it, he thinks it would worsen the body load. But, whatever works for your friend.

Swim used an elliptical trainer at high intensity for an hour after ingesting 150mg or so of Tramadol (may have been higher). It was quite interesting to say the least, though a bit dangerous.
Swiy can try it but if he feels odd in any way he should stop immediately. A more detailed description of swim's Tramadol work-out experience can be found in the Tramadol Experiences thread, though that is fairly different from HBWR so I don't know if it would help at all, besides being similar in that swim was working out in an altered state. |

SWIM has only ever attempted to work out on the basic common drugs in low doses: alcohol, marijuana and caffeine.
Alcohol (or Dutch courage) seems to work well if power-lifting on the bench press. It seems to slow down the stamina but it's useful for a slow-paced power workout where energy only has to be used in short bursts. Marijuana seems to work well for rather tedious endurance exercises, whether lifting lighter weights or running casual laps. It certainly doesn't work well if power training due to the general laziness it brings about. Caffeine is awful for most exercises in SWIM's opinion. It's his drug of choice for academic work but it's definitely no physical training tool. It gets one sweaty, irritated and it does mess up the water cycle a bit whether it be dehydration or the shits. |

SWIM meant taking the drug AFTER he works out, so that the endorphines would be released in his brain and he would be more relaxed.

The best drug you can use after working out is tobacco. Its a very nice feeling.
Other than that it doesn't sound too great. Using psychedelics afterwards could have very unpleasant results, and stimulants don't sound like something you would really want to use right after working out. |

Smoking a blunt after a hard workout feels real good. I say you should do it, but not heavily. You probably dont want to be tired, just a light workout to get the body going.
