That babble was if you took LSD and you saw cartoons in your head - you were going to die.

Regards the theory that if you take blotter with a picture of cartoons - you will see cartoons and so on, Bongo might make some fake blotter with pictures of George Bush on them. Bongo would love to see how this marketing gimmic would pan out.

I should take Bongo to the vet soon...

yes yes, ive heard many stories about Cartoon acid before. Its supposed to make you see everything in cartoon and they stopped making it cause it would give a lot of users brain siezers. APPARENTLY so..

SWIM has heard of all kinds of crap like this, blood acid, cartoon acid, etc... If someone took them and was completely ignorant (and therefore shouldn't have taken them in the first place), maybe placebo or subliminal effect might make it actually true?

SWIM also knew one idiot who was trying to convice him that all drugs were just different levels of THC. Acid, that's got lot's of THC in it. Pot, moderate. Coke, alot, but of a different kind. Heroin, lots of THC, but sleepy THC.

Swim has heard from friends that there is a difference in acid. Swim has been told that there is cartoon and straight acid. i was just wondering, for purposes of helping swim out, is this true and if so please give me info on the differences. swim will appreciate it!

swim tells me that they say cartoon is where one sees really crazy hallucinasions (spelled wrong) while straight is where one sees things that are only mildly psychadelic... if that makes sense.

No, don't think it was dose issues.. Most hits are uniform. SWIM was implying that SWIY friend may have been getting a Research Chemical being in the 2c-x family confused with what he thought was LSD.

Seriously though, if anyone knows the derivation of this myth I'd be fascinated to know.

I have a friend who has since done amazingly stupid things and gotten out of the trade but who had some "lsd" on rather thick blotters once. She said that it felt like some of the best, cleanest acid she had ever done but the CEVs and OEVs looked more crisp and like cartoons rather than the usual "oil paintings." She did not know about RCs, so perhaps she took one of those but she said she thought at the time perhaps she had gotten ALD-52.

She says normally she gets loops of fractals and "wheels of heiroglyphics" on lsd with mostly yellows and reds but that particular blotter gave her crisp "blossoming" visuals with a lot of intense "glowstick colors" and at one point she hallucinated samurai chopping through time with neon "lotus petals" behind them.

Another friend of mine got some of the same stuff and said he laid on his friend's bed and closed his eyes and got visited by the "Afflack Duck" and felt like he just watched TV on the inside of his brain.


They both reported loving the "lsd" and that it had the same duration and had similar effects as the usual blotter but felt "cleaner" or "crisper" and much more visual. Both of them had taken lsd at least five or six times in the past.

Reading this thread reminded me of their odd blotter paper. They told me their stories oh... a few years ago now and said it looked like "fruit stripe gum" on the bottom. Perhaps whatever substance this blotter contained accounts for some few "cartoon acid" rumors.
