Salvia divinorum Questions

Hello all... first post here. Please excuse SWIM's ignorance, and label it curiosity. SWIM has only high-school chemistry under my belt, but has enthusiasm to make up for it. SWIM found the Rhodium archive two weeks and their mind has been filled with questions ever since.

SWIM has been involved with drugs for a fair while now, but SWIM has only recently turned to clandestine chemistry. SWIM is currently attempting a small-scale San Pedro extraction (1kg of San Pedro... is SWIM right in expecting a yield of only 0.5-1g?), is intending to do a Acacia Maidenii extraction soon, and is also intending to follow this recipe - https://www.synthetikal.com/Rhodiums...xtraction.html

Could anyone give SWIM some feedback as to the accuracy of the second extraction method? Also, it appears to SWIM that if this does not extract 'pure' Salvinorin A, it would be at least mostly pure, containing only those other chemicals with the same or similar properties to Salvinorin... is Salvinorin A an alkaloid?

Anyways, the main gist of my question is as follows - assuming the crystals were pure or mostly pure salvinorin, and as the dosage required is only 800-1200mg, is Salvinorin A soluble in water, or does it require a solvent? If so, are there any solvents which are food-safe? SWIM is imagining dissolving the extract in liquid, putting it in a small spray-bottle and spraying it on to various herbal mixtures... and if this worked, could one spray the solution onto one's smoking medium and then let it dry? Would the Salvinorin remain?

Also, as a matter of interest - does insufflation (snorting) of Salvinorin A work? Assuming a dose of 1mg, could the 260mg be cut with 260g cutting agent to give a powder which delivers a full dose of Salvinorin at 0.1g?

to reply your questions:

1) Salvinorin A it is not soluble in water, it requires a solvent (most efficient is acetone).

2) yes, you can wet (by spray or dropper or whatever) you solution with Salvinorin A and let it dry, but make sure you use high purity solvents that don't leave noxious chemicals (if you want to stay safe you can use drinkable alchool but it is a poor solvent for Salvinorin A).

3) snorting doesn't t work. Ingestion methods are: by smoke, by vaporizing it, by sublingual absorption

I suggest you to google a bit and find the Salvinorin-A extraction guide which also explain how to make Salvinorin-A infused cigarette papers.
