busted with Research Chemicals uk.

below is an account of something that happened to swim last week any use of the word or letter i is not reference to me, but reference to the confisations that swim told me happened during the time. This is quiet a long post so I could give as much information as possible and get any help that’s appropriate for swim or any one else in the uk in a similar situation.

a very close swim was raided last week under the misuse of drugs act 1971. they had not been aware of anything until the 5 0 where in there front room, as they had left the door open for a friend. which was good in away as other wise they would of had the door smashed in.
it was lucky also cause he normally would of hit out at a strange unknown person in the house. They did not identify them self’s straight away, and where not in uniform.

the 5 0 went threw the whole crap right stay where you are keep your hands where we can see them. swim asked 1. who they where & to see i.d 2. how the fuck they got in the house. 3. to see the warrant which was briefly flashed at him, rolled up inside an officers pocket. They said they where there to search with a warrant under the misuse of drugs act 1971. they proceeded to ask if there was any drugs or paraphernalia in the house that they where aware of. swim was not read his right's even though he believed he should of been even if not being placed under arrest.

swim replied there are some needles in the spare room, with citric acid and bicarb of soda (this can be paraphernalia in the uk depending on arresting officer) apart from that no there was not. this is not what we are talking about they said to swim we want the drugs, the paraphernalia bit is just added on for good measure, for when we find the drugs they added. Oh swim added there are also some digital scales in the room to (again this can be used as paraphernalia).

actually swim had a few rc's stored in solution, which he had had for a while before he new of the legal status of some of them and this was only because some suppliers stopped sending to the UK. but thought not much of it, and not wanting to drop himself in it. (also wanting to risk getting away with it) the 5 0 searched the house and where asking swim about h and crack (they use now and then) they said they had none and had not done any for some time. of course the 5 0 asked where they got it from, but like swim was going to grass on anyone. then asked about crystal meth swim laughed at them round hear your joking (very small rural community) in London i could get it if i really wanted to he replied. what about the e’s and stuff. swim said he did not know as he did not go out in the town as there was no where decent to go (being from London where you can go out all night and day in there small town there is two very small clubs which close at 2am and play crape music) also saying that they often get into trouble with locals who are looking for a fight when they are drunk. The 5 0 then found a small bit of puff. what is this came the ?en, i don’t know looks like spiff. what’s it doing hear i don't know replied swim i don’t smoke it (swim does not he hates the stuff) well it must be yours, no it could be my partners or a friend could of left it hear, at that time the other 1/2 came home only to be striped searched and ?end, in the other room from swim.

anyways about 1 month ago swim got some dpt and tucked it behind a draw in front room. not to hide it but to make shure it was reasonably safe from guests to there home. ah ha came a sound from the next room we got something hear. what’s this asked the cop coke i bet, or crystal meth. no replied swim it's not it's a chemical for research. then why do you have white powder stashed behind your draws?

because i do replied swim and it's not stashed it just stop's any friends finding it. well we will have to test it. swim remembering back some yrs remembered some officer putting there finger in a bag of k to taste if it was coke and thought for a brief moment should i let them do it, no thought swim better not though had it been a stronger rc this could of been sickly amusing. turned out they had a little kit with them to test for the major drugs coke, speed, e, ect they went to test it and asked swim before hand if he was sure he wanted them to or to admit guilt before hand. yeah sure go ahead what is it before we do it. it's a research chemical can't tell you the chemical name but it's legal it's chemically like mushrooms (he was playing a bit dumb) what pisiclobin that’s illegal. no but it's a little chemically similar to it but its legal to my knowledge, because there made to be legal for use by labs, that know what there doing then they tested it, it came back ok, it took 15 mins of arguing amongst them self’s to decided to take it. they said they would have to take it and get it tested at a lab as they where not 100% sure about it.

swim awaits the results, and any feather action that may come. they have said they will let me & swim's other mates know what happens. as some of them have rc's in there labs. but is happy they ignored the rest of his samples in solution. though he was surprised they did not search very well. or get suspicious at all the small miniature spirit bottles, some with varying amounts of liquid in them, especially seeing as they had full sized bottles in the living room with the spirits in. (lol) it turned out that they thought swim and partner where big time h, crack, and meth suppliers, and couriers.

but they very quickly realised manly thanks to his partner being able to corroborate the answers to the ?'s swim had given earlier along with the fact swim has a modestly decorated town flat. so it was not flashy full of the latest stuff and designer clothes ect so it was aparent swim was not loaded with the money from drug dealing. neither was it a groty hole with a grim sofa a small TV in the corner, with dirty needles and junkies smacked up all over the place. (this is the common assumption of what a smack heads house is like) also swim's partner said the pot was there’s; they had only a little for about four or five joint and did not smoke a lot. they said that was fine seeing as someone admitted it they would not take it any further. as it had been down graded and there was only a small amount and it was on privet property. basically they did not want any unnecessary work especially for such a small amount when they where expecting something big.

when he asked where they got this information, they said they could not say and it would only become available if swim went to court. swim said this annoyed him, as this was not the first time this has happened he had been stopped and searched in his car under the same misuse of drugs act about 1yr before. that time they had found nothing except their prescriptions for benzo's and methadone as they where a recovering addicts at the time. swim has never hidden this fact and is always honest and truthful with the police when they talk or ?en him. but he has never sold drugs of any sort.

swim was very embarrassed too as during the search a friend came round for a chat and a coffee, when the door bell rang the police where very suspicious asking who's that, why are they hear. swim was like i don't know i can't see threw the walls. less of that came the reply they went and answered the door where swims friend was surprised by the person answering not recognising him and not in a police uniform. they dragged him into the house explained who they where and what they where doing and because he had come to the house, they now had the right to search him under the misuse of drugs act. swims friend does not do drugs and they did not know swim did. they striped searched the friend then kicked him out.

when they finally came to leaving the house they finally give swim a copy of the warrant, and said they where taking the powder for analysis, swim however noticed this had not been sealed away in an everdance bag. in the UK any drug seized are sealed in a bag with a serial no and the like on them, and signed by the officer or person in charge. (the club i used to run where always given some by the local police so if we confiscated drugs from customers we could seal them away then hand them in every month, this was seen as helpful by not wasting police time with just users. if it was enough to be seen as dealing though we had to call them to deal with them) the four police officers left in a very bad mood after 2 1/2 hrs. swim looked at the warrant after they left and noticed it had only been issued that day. a warrant is good for 1 month after the judge has signed it and the police normally get a load done at once then exsiccate them when they get round to it. but they had come and raided swim the same day so he feels they must have thought they where onto a good collar which would of lead to an arrest and a stash of drugs and cash. swim does not know what information they had or where it came from, but only some friends & there mum know he has used drugs. he told a friend a little while after the incident when he said they had not sealed it. the friend said they probably would go back to the station a pour it down the drain not bothering to send it for expensive lab testing, then write and say it was ok but had been destroyed. as this had happened to him a few yrs before with k.

swim is however waiting to hear just in case, and in the mean time they can carry on the research with their other samples. as well as looking up on some case history of any people also arrested and charged with possession of rc's within the UK. and if need be contact his lawyer and get a back up case ready and prepared just in case it ends up going to court.

does anyone else on hear no any swim's that have had police search and find rc's and what happened especially in the UK. also in say places like Canada and the states where some more rc's are legal do the police confiscate and send them for testing or just leave them with their owner. if they do take them do they arrest you in order to do so? as swim was surprised even though they found and took a bag of powder out of his house they did not charge him and take him to the station for more ?ing with the suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance. then release him on bale till a date in the future. as he has known other people to be found with un-known pills or powders either on them or in their house or car ect. to always be arrested and ?end at a cop shop and released until they can have it tested then charge the person at a later date and take them court.

i will keep you informed of any more info as and when swim tell's me. and any helpful info or advice i could give swim would be helpful.
