Damiana vs. Kratom

Does Damiana even compare to Kratom as a Marijuana substitute? Some say it gives a decent high when smoked some say it doesnt, same with kratom. Damiana is alot easier to get and really cheap, although I cannot find damiana dry leaves in stores anywhere, even health stores that I go to only have it in capsule form, and i tried 10 800mg damiana leaf capsules emptied into a tea that was slightly less than boiling for 15-20 minutes then drank. (It doesnt taste bad at all) with no effect. Anyone know what went wrong? Did i have it at the wrong temperature, did I use to low of a dose, or can you not use damiana from capsules? Should I try again with a much higher dosage? Anyone have good luck with damiana? Anyoen know where you can get dryleaf damiana other than the net? ( If you have to post this answer in source forum please do) I know this was alot of questions but i'd like answers to as many of them as possible for I cannot smoke marijuana anymore (and im a long time user) I know nothing can completely replace marijuana but smoking pot is no longer an option, period, for at least 6 months and i can not go this logn without a high.I am definatly going to order some kratom but i'd like to try this as well. No, it does not compare. Maybe with an extract, but not as an herb. Whern using damiana tea, you should up the dose and let the tea sift for 24 hours.
