back problems from speed? and a steroid question...
hello board and thanks for welcoming me here.
my 'friend' just did some speed after about 6 years clean... surely the effect was super intense but left 'him' with a slight lower back pain. and in general, the body feels weaker... does that happen to most meth users? also, does anybody have experience with the use of both steroids and speed at the same time? youd figure the steroids would increase muscle mass, while the speed would decrease fat mass.. leading to a super RIPPED physique? true??? thanks in advance. |

SWIM has noticed lower back-ache and contributes it to using Speed. They used to get bad neck-ache, but that has pretty much gone now, however lower-back ache is seems to be more noticable the morning after, and if it does bother swim it is generally in the morning, or late at night.
"the body feels weaker" LOL - sorry but that's just the usual side effect most who use speed have a day (or 2) after. Best to get some healthy protein drinks, fruit & veg, and plently of rest. Can't help on the steroid front i'm afraid, although i can say that swim used to go to the gym about 3x a week, but hasn't really been as comitted over the last year, yet definition and tone is great (6-pack better than most men, so swim's been told). i believe swim uses speed nearly every day, although does frequently have rest periods of 3days+. I guess the main thing is to make sure of (according to swim) is that anyone thinking of using speed to help with training, is that they need to make sure enough calories & nutrients are taken in by having various shakes etc when actually using because they'll not want to eat. ALSO - V. Important note - Aviod taking strenuous exercise whilst actually having speed in your system, because the drug increases Heart Rate, BP, Body Temp and the double-whammy of working out puts a LOT of strain your body. Hope that helps |

Speed and steroids wouldnt be a good idea, high risk of a heart attack/stroke/death.
Swim had back problems about the first month into doing meth. Swim would also sit at his comp, play guitar for 8 hours, or stare out the window thinking something or someone was coming or there. haha. well just dont strain your body, sit up straight and rest every couple of hours if your sitting all funny. |

if using speed and steroids, SWIY should watch out for overtraining. as one can't really feel if SWIY is tiered or not. Therefore SWIm would recommend bulking first then cutting

Very important that you read this! Regarding the sore back issue... though you may experience some tension leading to sore muscles, most likely the sore back described by users here is not muscle related, it is kidney-related! It is very important that you drink lots of *water* if you experience this lower back pain. If your pee isn't clear (except in cases where you have taken multivitamins), then you need to drink more water until it is.

it probably would not be a good idea to use speed and steroids at the same time seeing as they both put strain on your liver and steroids are mostly used for bulking. although injectable steroids are alot easier on the liver and kidneys. but meth could definately be used if youre trying to get cut and ripped. plus steroids arent going to do shit if youre not eating right.

well swim had done steroids, and tina only on the weekends, had no problems at all.
gym routines were fine, gained pounds, probably not as much, but nevertheless, it can be done. The main thing is to get the food down, no matter what. But youll be fine....it has been done before....trust me on that. |

Re: back problems from speed? and a steroid question...
Steroids, working out, and tina, eh?
I wonder how SWIY didnt freaking pass out and die. I dont know if the "you'll be fine ...its been done before, trust me on that".... if that is such good advice...Especially speaking in terms of organ failure. |

Re: back problems from speed? and a steroid question...
Hey this swim also encountered back problems when she used to use meth. It is like tiny knots of muscle would materlize and only a massage theripist can work them out. However, with continue use would rematerlize again a few days later. Remember back hurt, so swim hitched up with a massage specialist who was into deep body tissue workout. Swim later split up with specialist when she stop doing a daily back masssage. Speed just doesn't f*ck with the mind but also the body too. Some people who use daily, will find speed bumps in their skin. This is the leftover meth not used by the body but stored for future use. The user usually picks at these until they become scabs. Pleasant thought?

Can any doc or physicien confirm that speed has only FAT-LOSS effect ?
Personnally, I think that if one would be working out to get Muscle Mass, he should never be using speed, as it would burn his fat AND muscle... IMO... Anyone ? That'd be great to have truth on that |
