Ice Quality and geographic location

Swim was wondering if geographic location (in the United States) changes the quality of meth. Swim lives in the central area of the US, in a state that is highly restrictive of ephedrine sales. It seems this has worked well to stop local cooks, because the only shit swim can find anymore is nasty fake mexi-meth that at best is probably 10 percent pure. Just out of curiosity, is anyone on the coasts having trouble finding good quality tweak like swim?

Problem is that the product been stepped on so many times by the time it get to your locale. Down here it usually pretty decent.
