salvia divinorum bong

Everyone talks about using salvia in a bong, is this the only effective way to do it, or can i smoke it in a roll up with tobacco or what...?? Can u chew it aswell...?? Whats best!?


plus is it a bad idea to do it in a public place, like bar or club?... im gessin it wud be...lol

You can chew Salvia or smoke it in a pipe or bong. Chewing is immensely bitter and gives an effect of several hours. Most smoke it.

So you can't smoke salvia in a roll up joint then?

In order to get the full effect of salvia, you must have as much of the smoke in your lungs as long as possible. It takes more than 20 seconds for most of the divinorum to be absorbed, which means you have to hold it in a long time and you need as much as possible in your lungs while holding it (which is why a bong or other waterpipe is superior to a dry pipe of a J). Also, it may be necessary to take more than one hit, depending on your own opinion. You'll KNOW when you don't need more, cause you won't be able to hit the pipe anymore, and chances are you'll be off visiting other dimensions or (as in my case), having conversations with your furniture.


Salvia can be taken orally -- most people who do this buy a tincture, not chew the leaves -- for a much more mellow, mild trip. I can't speak for how well this works as I've never tried it, but I wanted to try salvia for its potency and short duration, not for a "trippy" effect.


If you haven't tried salvia before, there's something you should know. This plant is very blunt, very intense, and not euphoric. The vast majority of people don't find it very recreational, which is probably why it's still legal at the moment. It's not a good party drug or anything like that, you should be in a quiet, calm setting with people you trust.

I would have to agreethat a water pipe, or vaporization are the best methods. Salvinorin A combust at temperatures hotter than those reached by normal bic litters so a torch litter is a must. This makes the smoke very hot and irritable, so cooling it with water is only going to save you some pain.


You should definitely not use salvia in a public place 1) because you will make a fool of yourself when you hit the ground and start drooling and 2) because salvia is not a toy to "f**k you up" and should not be used as such. It is a tool that can show you wonderful things if properly respected.
