Anti-narcotics officers nab suspected trafficker who hid drugs in anus

OMG.. How the hell did he find this? Did he do a rectal exam right there in the middle of the street? This is insane!

SINGAPORE : A suspected drug trafficker thought he could avoid detection by concealing drugs in his anus.

But he didn't get past anti-narcotics officers at the Woodlands Checkpoint.

The 25-year-old motorcyclist, together with his 14-year-old pillion passenger, was arrested at about noon on Tuesday following a routine check.

At first, the officers found nothing incriminating on the motorcycle.

But on further checks, they uncovered a small plastic canister containing drugs in his anus.

The canister contained a total of 80 Ecstasy tablets and about 8 grammes of Ice with street value of over $4,500.

The arrest led CNB officers to mount further operations, where they nabbed 5 others - a 17-year-old girl and four men aged 21 to 32 - believed to be the suspect's intended drug recipients.

$3,321 worth of suspected drug proceeds were seized from them.
