Feds charge Internet pharmacy with peddling diet drugs

PHILADELPHIA A federal prosecutor in Philadelphia says two doctors helped peddle (m) millions of dollars worth of diet drugs through a shady online pharmacy.
U-S Attorney Patrick Meehan says 57-year-old Steven Klinman of Elkins Park and 42-year-old Ranvir Ahlawat of Toms River, New Jersey, approved thousands of prescriptions without seeing anyone in person.

Meehan says the pharmacy was run by a California man. That man's lawyer says there's nothing wrong with doctors prescribing drugs without a face-to-face meeting.

Im looking for more info on this. This could set a serious precedent for online presciption drug sales depending on how the court rules in the case.
