Smoking with a zippo?

Is there any reason that SWIM shouldn't, can't, or should prefer not to?

SWIM may just be a retarded monkey, but save SWIM the trouble of pulling out a zippo in a circle of friends who all have bics.

I did not mention anything of which I was smoking. And i did realize what i did but i could not edit my profile, i guess new people can't edit..even though I have been on this forum quite a while and had silver status for quite a while.

Zippos are for lighting cigarettes and cigars. They're useless for pipes, bongs etc. due to the gas. Go get SWIY a nice Bic or a Clipper.

Swim thought she was out of lighters last night (she found two the rest have been stolen by gnomes) as she had only had two for awhile (bics) and they both ran out of fuel one after another. The only thing in the house she could easily find was a zippo, but she didn't use it (she searched for another half hour and found a scripto instead). It's not good for lighting bowls, the flame is typically too large. It could be alright for blunts, possibly joints but you wouldn't want to torch the thing. If swim were you, she would get a bic. They seem to last longer than the cheaper lighters although swim may consider switching to scriptos at times because she always smokes bowls when she smokes (which is often) and her thumb gets awfully sore from flicking the lighter.

Swim loves clippers. Becuase you can take out the flint thingy, you canm use it to pack the rolled papers of whatever you are smoking.

When SWIM has been forced to use a zippo for Js blunts ciggys and especially bowls he has found that the taste on naphtha came through noticeably. If SWIY is smoking with more seasoned smokers they may consider you a little under educated and that you are spoiling the aroma of your herb and thus extract the urine from you. but if SWIY likes his zippo go for it SWIM has a friend who will not be found with less than 2 zippos on his person and will smoke using nothing but zippos. peace
