Sure the snorted cocaine is going to get you briefly a lot higher but quality of high is what this little history is about

Swim loves to chew coca and walk in the Andes, in the remote places where the views and nature is amazing
walking all day in the Andes and chewing (or actually it is not really chewing), it is an art, making a proper coca quid in your gob with the right amount of catalyst and just squeezing it to release the icy cold juices and letting them numb out your mouth and when if it is good leaf and you are doing it right with catalyst it numbs out your throat too

one quid it lasts an hour in your gob when its large and made properly and walking in the mountains becomes an absolute joy. no hill is too daunting, you just cruise and take it all in, a smooth energy, no paranoia and gentle euphoria
you feel completely sure footed, clear very much in the moment

every hour you spit out the spent leaves and restoke the gob slowly and carefully with leaves and catalyst and within minutes you have another hour of pleasure ice-ing over your mouth

one does this all day, you dont want the trail to end, but dark comes and you find your next villlage and a room (sometimes swim hasnt found a village and walked through the night feeling great about that too), but usually swim finds a village and now feeling double as high from all the natural endorphins of walking all day mixed with chewing coca all day

now you enjoy a natural speed ball in your system, have a beer at the local shop and you feel hungry and eat a nice meal maybe guinea pig maybe chicken or llama (guinea pig is like rabbit anyway).

no withdrawal, stopping your walking, drinking a beer and eating the meal with all the endorphins stops the coca leaf cycle, you go to bed tired and relaxed and sleep like a baby
no insomnia

and you wake feeling real good, are really hungry and have breakfast and buy some more coca leaf off some lady with 10 petticoats and a cowboy hat, she smiles and presents you 2 or 3 qualities of leaf you ask her what she is chewing, she laughs and hands over the good stuff

okay ready and set off walking again
after a few weeks of this you feel great, look fit and lean as you walk all day in the mountains on leaf and water only and after a month you feel so so fit, you lose your gut and look and feel 10 years younger

and then you get on the aeroplane back home, no coca leaf, but no withdrawal, no craving just the after effects of a clean system and fitness like you have never been before. its not like coffee, where you get real fucken headaches when you stop your 3 cups a day and its shitty weak jittery short high

why do they ban this leaf stuff, this is the real cocaine high, the quality one, we are ripped off with this chemical white lady shit man

So last week swim got his first batch of Coca in (Lupi brand from Bolivia) and has been blown away by the long lasting potency of the stuff. He chewed two tea bags worth with some baking soda toothpaste around 10am and wasn't able to fall asleep until almost 7am the next morning.

I can't believe this stuff to be so long lasting. Could caffeine intake potentate it to this strength? Swim barely took a 10th of a regular dose of coca.

Any ideas?

Coca leaves(like cannabis, there are different strains) contain anywhere from .5 to 2% cocaine. However there are 14 other alkaloids in the coca leaf-many of which have not been studied fully, even to this day. Regardless, the effects of the coca leaf are much longer lasting than the isolated alkaloid of cocaine itself.

yes, coca alkaloids do have a longer half life than cocaine in extracted form.
however feeling stimulated from two teabags for nearly 18 hours is very rare. with no "tolerance" to stimulants, some people around swim did feel a 6 hours or so stimulation ( very light, more in the lines of not being able to sleep)
with swim's tolerance, he can sleep 30 minutes after chewing, and barely feels effects after 1 1/2 hour after a ( 4/5 bag) chew.
as for the dose, the measurements one might read online are off. 2X igram bags is actually a normal dose. Whole leaves are very bulky, if you measure the size of 10 or even 20 grams of leaves, which is something one might find online, you'll see that's it's very hard to fit into one's mouth. Swim doesn't know where those measurements came from, but swim's guess is that they were eyeballed, possibly with undried leaves. A five leaf quintu is nowhere near one gram for instance.
which is why teabag ground coca is so convienient and effective, much more than whole leaves.
swiyou should use regular baking soda though, rather than toothpaste, for a higher soda concentration.
and caffiene might have a synergetic effect, but this has been little studied, like the coca alkaloid cocktail itself, and in corpore breakdown of the alkaloids into egconine, etc...

yest swim would hesitate to call it a "cocaine" high, as it is more about the combinations of alkaloids, even though cocaine is part of the cocktail, in very moderate amounts...Coca is a "coca high", which is what is truly great about it.

It's probably due to the breakdown of alkaloids in the GI tract, and not enough absorption. tea is good mind you, similar stimulation to green tea, wakes you up, gives a little energy, but nothing like "chewing" leaves with a basifying agent, which releases alkaloids into the saliva, and are then absorbed via the mouth's mucous lining and enter the bloodstream.
tribes in the amazon basin "chew" powdered coca mixed with an alkali, which is also an option for chewing powdered coca. works fine but is messy.

when one does make tea, just make sur to keep the water below 90° celsius, as otherwise it's detrimental to the makeup of the drink ( in Peru and other places, water boils at lower temperatures due to altitude). steeping for longer than 10 minutes also increases the concentration of the drink.

another option which is between "chewing" and tea is to make a carbonated drink with baking soda and strong tea. effects are in between, though the real yet moderate psychoactive effects ( moodlift, motivation) are really only felt with chewing mind you. there is a recipe posted in this forum.
Something which has to be explored is eating 1 or 2 grams of coca wrapped in some cellulose wrapping, to make sure it is not instantaneously attacked by stomach acids. Swim used japanese girlfriend's herbal medecinal powder wrapping, and was very energetic while swimming his 1000 meters in the pool, but this has to be experimented with some more, in order to verify potential.

yes absolutely. This is pretty much the same worldwide, basically everywhere appart from traditional production areas, and a consequence of the 1961 United Nations Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs, which unfortunately mentioned unprocessed coca leaves.
Quite a few people ( and activist groups) around the world are now arguing to get coca leaves removed from this convention, and modify their status.

coffee without the jitterness, and with a longer lasting physical stimulation and increase in stamina, plus a noticeable moodlift. much better than coffee in swim's opinion.
the taste is an aquired one, granted, but it also depends on the basifying agent you're using. Some of the alkali are even flavored nowadays.
but swim goes the easiest and lest harmful way : sodium bicarbonate.

Sounds like a cool experience, I´d like to have in real life with exactyl those leaves and alkali, too.

Swim does this with very low dose pure cocaine*HCl or low dose amphetamine and it works nearly as cool as the thread starter describes it, although the hunger in swim is only curbed by melanotan, mainly, as the low dose cocaine obviously is done after 45 min or say 2-4hours.

there is one way around the legality of coca leaf (in the US anyways...and its kind of a legal grey area)

the live plant Erythoxylum Coca is specifically illegal, but as far as i know Erythoxylum Novogranatense is not mentioned in any law and is legal to cultivate (and supposedly, is the more potent of the two species)..

then again, if they want to get you, they will...

that´s usefull only if you live at at least 1000mt avobe sea level and have dry, mild weather. otherwise coca plats will never grow.

yes they will, they are hardy down to 50° F and up to 90° F and require and acidic soil. as long as those conditions are met, they grow just fine. the high altitude is not neccessary...

this was discussed in another thread, in fact i supplied a link that explained this, but it had to be removed as it was a commercial link...(the info came straight from one of the only online coca plant vendors). in fact, on the other thread another member of this forum mentioned SWIM was growing it at sea level in oregon with no problems whatsoever.

One of my friends did her PHD field work research in veitnam or someplace like that. She said to study the culture properly she involved herself in all of their daily rituals. For the whole time she was there she did nothing but chew on those leaves and said it was the best time she ever had. Why do anthropologists have all the fun?? Apparently some of her students asked if she go factory tures and samples. Purple pixies like that, that would be cool.. Some of the stuff she experienced was so wild though. She said that at one point she almost died due to some fight between people and it was crazy because as much as she was freaking out it made valuable field notes.... Fuck that. I love my nice safe lab and my hot supervisor.
