Creative codenames you've used for meth in front of normys

My cat uses meth with his brother and one day he woke up at around 7am and saw his brother stuck still awake doing art. They had no pipe so they had been doing lines that weekend and my cat opened his eyes wide, put an intense look on his face, and said SUNSHINELINES!! in a very fast in a funny tweaker style voice.

My cat and his brother busted up laughing it was so randomly hilarious. Ever since then, when one cat wanted to smoke with the other but couldn't communicate it because there were normys around at the time, he would use the word "sunshine" in a sentence. It worked like a charm but he realized that sober cats catch on quick sometimes. So other creative code words came into rotation.

Here's a few code words my cat uses:
-Shardashians or Kardashian(s)
-"10 and 2" in a good sentence.
-*Catch the other cat's eye and give the upchin gesture. (Not words but silent code for let's smoke.
-"I just took a shit in there" (code for "the pipe is in the back of the bottom cabinet in the bathroom.

It's entertaining really, to have these code words/gestures be used so effectively without ever planning them, and how oblivious other cats are to this spontaneous secret language my cat and his brother have created.

What's some creative codes, gestures, or signals you meth catz use when words won't work?

Nice idea for a thread.

Ours is usually as simple as the word coffee. Wanna stop by before work and have a glass ofcoffee? I am gonna stop by Starbucks , want me to grab you anything? Its all pretty much coffee based because its simple.

Too much creamer means its cut. They forgot my straw means gonna smoke and not snort. Damn Starbucks is getting greedy when they cant even give you a full cup at their prices , bag was short. Different coffee stores means different people it came from or coming from. I dont have time to run by Starbucks today , you want anything from McDonalds.

The best one I've got is with my hook-up. The noun form is "Burgers." He's got me for pot occasionally too, but rarely by itself, so he'll ask if I want "lettuce on my burger." "Just getting a salad today" means I'm too broke for the good stuff and I need some assistance coming down for a few days.

That's funny. The time my cat almost got caught using code was when he was calling meth "fuckin fuckin". He would go into a room full of normys, point directly at the only other cat tweaking in the room and shout something that makes absolutely no sense with the phrase "fuckin fuckin" thrown in. E.G:

"Why is the FUCKIN FUCKIN bathroom so all Kim Kardashian?! And like her skank stank ass, I bet under that fuckin fuckin sink is dirty as all he'll too !

*Everyone is like "WTF did you just say?" and laughs it off like my cat's an idiot that tried to make a coherent sentence and hilariously failed.

Little did they know, my cat's words were actually coherent to one smelly cat in that room. Mission accomplished.

Re: Creative codenames you've used for meth in front of normys

My Chimpanzee Cornelius and his roommates usually refer to it as "Have you seen Tina around, I really wanted to talk to her (you got that?)", "Let me know when she'll be home (when is it gonna be ready?)", "Tina fucked me right last night (that shit was potent)", "Tina looks pale as fuck (clear shards, potent)" "Tina has the flu, sorry man (bad shit)", "Can Tina come over? (lets smoke)", I think "Tina" is a known code word but they use it all the time. It is a group thing so they try not to use it in the company of non-consenting Chimps, or so he tells me.

Re: Creative codenames you've used for meth in front of normys

I think I may be in the minority here, but I absolutely do not discuss drugs around anyone that I haven't seen use personally. When the subject is discussed though I refrain from codewords for the sake of clarity, if nothing else. At 33 years-old my brain feels too self-conscious and awkward when learning or using new slang.

Re: Creative codenames you've used for meth in front of normys

I can't really judge you for that because the longer you've had a habit, the more permanent it becomes. But my cat knows from much experience that meth should never cause you to become so paranoid that you are afraid to act even slightly out of the ordinary. At that point you should give your brain a vacation from the dope. Otherwise continue in the worsening cycle of turning into a straight antisocial weirdo tweaker. You should do what you want to do (within reason of course). Be a little spontaneous! My cat asks himself if he's being unreasonable all the time and it helps to alleviate the *weirdo* vibe tweakers tend to give off.

Re: Creative codenames you've used for meth in front of normys

Some of my friends use "toilet paper" as the code. so someone would walk out the bathroom and say I just stocked up up on toilet paper earlier so you should be set. everyone would ask why they're stocking me up and I would say they just used the last of it last night so I made them replenish me. And the subject would be dropped while I went to go refresh myself

Re: Creative codenames you've used for meth in front of normys

Coffee is a good standby. I'm a total coffee feind, so it's 100% normal for me to mention needing it. But when we mean meth, it's with eye contact and a different tone. Most of the time, though, we just wait until we get a second to whisper in the others ear, and we call it "that." "Hey, where did you put that?" or "I got that, it's ready for you." I have trouble with the idea of needing to discuss it so badly in front of non users that I need an intricate system of words. No judgements, just one of my tics I guess. A simple complaint of being tired or hungry gets the point across quite nicely. (Sorry this post is such a cluster fuck. I should really stop trying at this point lol)

Re: Creative codenames you've used for meth in front of normys

Currently my imaginary friend uses one of two euphemisms when referring to methamphetamine: "Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards" (which is an actual game for the Nintendo 64... he usually leaves off "The Crystal Shards" part, for obvious reasons), and "go juice" (which was the name for petroleum in the movie "Waterworld").

A copy of "Kirby 64"

Re: Creative codenames you've used for meth in front of normys

I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I and the only other person I know that messes with it usually just say "Flash" as we're big comic fans. "Read the new Flash? Heard he hit the speedforce," which means it's super good, "Flash is getting beat up pretty bad right now," no good/no go, et cetera. "Shit" and "Go Fast" are popular as well.

TheMoleculeMan that's clever as hell. As an aside I'd just like to say I haven't played that in forever.

In Australia Koalas commonly use the term boondies. Boondies was a childhood term for rocks or stones. Hence "big boondies" refers to large crystals

Finally! Someone else on DF who says "work". My people and I always call it that. Being in the service industry "work" is a very convenient code word.

Ex. Call ur dealer and say "hey man you find any work yet?" That would mean, are you stocked up? " Cool! Where at?" Means are you at ur usual location? "When do you start?" Would mean, can I come now?

No suspicions so far
