DJ Krust - Hidden Knowledge

Hi,

Recently DJ Krust, a prominent drum'n'bass artist from the UK, released a freshly recorded album called "Hidden knowledge".

I complained many times about the fact that most of the people who consume mind expanding drugs and take part to rave parties tend to waste the potential of such experiences because of their lack of consciouness of "what's going on", of what are the real transformative potential of such experiences.

Are the things now changing ? I could not answer to this question, but I think that through this album, Krust is trying to transmit
a piece of knowledge, a Hidden Knowledge, to the DnB community.

What follows is what can be found in the booklet that goes with the disc. It's composed whit the tracks' names and a short definition of the meaning of the choosed titel. I think its explicit enough and doesn't need further commentaries from my part

Internal Dialogue
The constant chatter of the mind the self-talk.
It’s said that we hav an average of 50’000 thoughts a day.

Belief System
A belief system is something that controls the behaviour of the individual. It gives us a sense of right and wrong.

Choose consciousness
Consciousness is the awareness of self, of the mind, of the environment we live, the world and the universe and all there is.

How To Mutate
To mutate to become something else.
To change yourself, in this instance of the better.

Human Awareness
Human Awareness is our sense of self.
Its our sense of fairness, the pursuit of truth, and all the things that make us what we are.

Mystery School
A school of old where you could study the science of life and where you could learn the mystery of the universe.

Initiation
An initiation is where those who are at a higher level of understanding guide someone through a process so they may gain greater Knowledge.

Rhodes Less Travelled
Is a decision that a person makes. Usually a personal one to do with their beliefs. Its how strongly they feel about something to the extent that they are willing to go there own way no matter what the outcome.

New Humans
New humans are a more consciousness race of human begins that are more aware of their place in nature and the universe.


EVEN IF ALL OUR MINDS WERE FREE WE STILL WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO IMAGINE ALL THE INFINITE POSSIBILITIES THAT THERE ARE TO IMAGINE. THAT IS THE SCOPE OF THE UNIVERSE – NEVER ENDING, ALL WAYS EXPANDING. THE ONLY THING STOPPING THIS IS OUR IMAGINATION.

Sounds good, but is the music good as well?

A bit disapppointing at the beginning, his drum'n'bass doesn't sound as massive as other kinds of DnB, a little bit downtempo or even minimal music. I still didn't listen to this CD correctly, for the moment I just remember the beat of "Rhodes Less Travelled".
