Drug info - can alcohol be tested for in urine tests?

I have been wondering if urine tests can detect the use of alcohol if your on advicement or probation. Anyone know?

yes but its a really expensive ass test and alcohol is only in your system for 24-48 hours

actually its a very cheap test. But it does only stay in your system for 24 hours, maybe up to48 if you've been on bender.

What I've read was that the test can only detect use within the last 6-24 hours, depending on how much you have drank.

i can only speak from experience, but i was on probation for a DWI. Part of my sentence was to go to Alcohol counseling. This was a weekly, 1 hr class full of other people that got busted. they made us take random UAs. I know that alcohol was tested for because i failed it (this was in Florida). Since then, I've never failed it. Alcohol is a liquid. If you get shitfaced the night before, it will still be in you piss the next day. if you have two glasses of wine with dinner and have to piss in a cup the next morning, you'll be ok. i just guage it by how good or bad i feel the next morning. that's just me though.

How long can Alcohol be detected in the urine? SWIM didn't drink 60 hours before his U/A. Think he'll be okay?

From everything SWIM has read the subject, he thinks you should be fine, and if not, move to Canada.

SWIS should be fine. SWIM is on probation urinalysis and drank pretty heavily ~24hours before his test and came up fine. 60 hours should be more than enough.
