ANOTHER Brownie/butter Thread..
Look, I've been looking into TONS of different recipes for canna butter, brownies, etc. and find them all very useful. SWIM wants to make some canna butter, and has found some good recipes; but the info that these recipes alllwayss leave out is HOW MANY brownies does SWIM need to eat, or if its spread on toast... what's an estimate on how many slices of toast should be consumed.
I know it varies from one person to another, but there is always a range of averages. This high is supposed to be INTENSE, and of course SWIM doesn't want to over-do it. SWIM would usually just eat some, wait, and eat more based off that, but the fact that consuming THC orally makes the effects kick in MUCH later, its not as easy to make judgements on all that. So this is what SWIM was wondering... 1. If SWIM is using half an ounce of sort of shitty weed, how many sticks of butter should he melt the weed in to? 2. Once the half ounce is added to the ___ sticks of butter, about how much should be used between 3 people? ( Should they split up ALL the butter 3-ways? or should they save half for another high, and split up 3/4ths of it) I know it is different for everyone, but if you could just estimate, that would be VERY helpful. Thank you |

The general rule is that you should use three times as much when you cook as when you smoke. So if you smoke 0.3 grams to get stoned, you need three times that much in your brownies (around 1 gram).
If you have enough butter in there so that the weed stops solving its goodies, that means enough (you will see this). And it's not so intense that you should worry about it. So now SWIM has poured water in the pot, put it in the oven, let it get really hot, added butter, it melted into it, added 1/2 oz of green, turned temperature down.
SWIM sees that the butter is clear? This is not bad new right? When refridgerated, the butter will appear once again right? SWIM will just leave the bud in the butter for about 30 minutes, resting on a nice simmer. Is SWIM on the right track? |
