Farnham teenager named after Chobham party 'drug death'
An 18-year-old man who died after a party where he is thought to have taken an illegal drug has been named.
Charlie Barker, from the Wrecclesham area of Farnham, is believed to have taken 2C-I or 2C-E at a party on Chobham Common on Saturday.
Post-mortem tests were inconclusive and inquiries into the sudden death are continuing, Surrey Police said.
A 20-year-old man from Gloucester and an 18-year-old woman from Bristol have been arrested and bailed until March.
The two suspects had been held on suspicion of manslaughter and supplying controlled
drugs.
'Loved by all'
The teenager's mother, Trudy Barker, said her son had been confident and warm as a child and had grown to become a thoughtful, artistic and caring young man.
She said he worked hard at a local fish and chip shop while studying at Farnham College.
"Both at his place of work and at college he was loved by all," she added.
She said the family were lost without him, and he would never be forgotten.
