SWIM is trying to find a strain that isnt to stoney

One of my good friends parents has MS and she said shes tried to use marijuana before to help with the pain but she doesnt like it if its strong cause she'll be well...stoned all day and not move
and if its not strong enough it doesnt take care of the pain
Does anyone know of any strains that are good for killing pain but doesnt keep you locked to the couch all day?

If she is taking it for pain I don't think the fun aspect is the main thing she is looking for. Plus it seems that she would take it on a regular basis if the pain is chronic, and I doubt she wants to get addicted to amphetamines to add to her troubles.

As a caregiver for a MS spouse, w. widow is a good strain, like rxbandit said. Plus, he might want to check out Medicine Man. As for the adderall, small doses does wonders on fatique, don't overdo it, tremors kick in over 30 mg. on some people with MS.

Have you looked into sativa strains as opposed to indica strains?

Blueberry is a very mellow chill high yet it lasts for a while and doesn't rob you of energy. If you can find it, its highly recommended by Swim.
