Members promoted to Titanium (February 2013)

A new group of members has made it to Titanium membership.

Titanium is a member group that is higher than silver and lower than palladium. Titanium members have contributed to Drugs-Forum greatly and have received many positive ratings from other members. You can safely say that their opinion, advise and informative contributions are valued and respected dearly.

Titanium members have various expanded functions and rights. Titanium members can edit wiki articles freely. Titanium members can join forum crews. Titanium members will be able to use the chat room during chat meetings. I expect that titanium members will get some more functionality in time.

Titanium members have a high reputation, 60 posts or more, posts within the last 2 months, no infractions nor received significant negative ratings recently.

Their star is rising and the next level to reach is Palladium membership. To reach Palladium similar goals need to be reached. The main difference is the requirement to rate posts.

Spatial: your comment makes me wonder if you fully understand what is needed for Palladium. You do not know which members are and are not using the reputation system and therefore you do not know who did and who did not do enough to reach palladium.

I did not really mean it in the exact sense that they need promoted. I was simply giving the kudos for the intense amount of work they had put in.

HoH actually contacted the SAFE foundation for the family of the girl that had brain damage potentially from the synthetic cannabinoids she smoked. Basoodler has been a new article junkie for sometime and has kept things rolling on that end rather fantastically. I was giving them an effectual ranking of their own sort due to the rate at which they have been climbing the ladder via beneficial acts for the website. That was all that was meant really.

This was a misunderstanding. It is hard to make such conveyances via text where you can imply a light-hearted notion, but all that was being shown was that they have done such a phenomenal job recently that it earns an implicit promotion to their own next level. I did not mean they should immediately jump to Palladium perhaps. I just meant that they are going places and fast.

I was very short for words in my original statement, and I can see where it could be misconstrued as such. Sorry about that. Hope that clarifies a bit better.

** Shameless forum crew group plug imminent **

I'd urge all Titanium level members and higher (both newly promoted and old) to get involved with the forum crew groups.

The forum crew groups are teams that actively work to refine and expand the content in fora that interest them. They play a really important role in keeping the quality of information high, making useful information more readily accessible, linking forum content to other resources such as the Drugs-Wiki and documents archive, and coming up with other ideas to improve each forum. Given the value of such contributions to the forum, active crew group participation is looked upon very positively when accounts are being reviewed for promotion.

A list of the forum crew groups can be found here. Titanium level members or higher can join. To join a forum crew group please contact the owner of the group or the moderators of that forum to express your interest. Please be aware that unlike other social groups there are responsibilities associated with forum crew group membership. They are a great way to get involved if you are interested in progressing and developing the forum.

Wow!!! Thank you - I didnt see that coming (and thats not modesty). I look forward to continuing to participate in the forum. I get to vent, share stories I cannot dream of telling anyone about, learn how to be safe despite unsafe habits, and get appreciated for it too!
