Valium (Diazepam) and Ephedrine?

SWIM got told that off tadpole that taking valium or any benzodiazpine and ephedrine at the same time has a great effect, does anyone know if this is true or not??

This is a potentially dangerous combination. Mixing uppers and downers is, in general, a bad idea as it can cause irregular heart beat.

so is it a definite no go? because ephedrine isn't a very strong stimulant.

Ephedrine is quite a strong stimulant. SWIM isn't saying this combination isn't enjoyable just that it could be dangerous. In the end it is up to SWIY whether or not to take the risk, although SWIM would probably stay away.

No. He has tried ephedrine and found it to be reasonably enjoyable although it did seem to be harder on his cardiovascular system than other stimulants he has tried. He can imagine it being a pleasant combination but would never try it due to safety concerns.

There can be. Although some people seem to not enjoy it SWIM and his friends found it quite euphoric. Just don't overdo it.

Lately, swim has been taking ephedrine semi-daily and has combined it with benzos a couple of times to take the edge off or help with anxiety. The benzo she used it with was klonopin and not valium though. Swim noticed no ill effects with the combo, and the sensation was somewhat pleasurable...a bit of energy, but relaxed. But, swim was also only mixing relatively low amounts of ephedrine with low amounts of klonopin. She wasn't really doing this for the high though, but just to be more productive because she had been feeling lethargic lately. It could be a problem with higher doses of the substances and I'm sure that it most likely does put stress on the cardiovascular system (well, ephedrine alone will do this) but in low doses it seems to be alright, at least for swim.

No, Swim reported no ill effects. It seemed to be a nice synergy with the doses that swim took (usually about 26mg of ephedrine with one milligram of clonazepam). Swim seems to be relatively healthy though as far as hearts go so if anyone suspects they have weak heart then it may be best avoided. But, just going from swim's word: the experience was pleasurable with no ill side effects at these dosages.

SWIM and her friends often used to take a few Valiums and a few Ephidrines at the same time, and really enjoyed the effects, some even compared it to the effects of ectasy....take it easy tho
